Update on Howard!

Do you remember lovely Howard who tested positive to FIV and who came into our cattery with servere injuries and was at risk of euthanasia?

Well, Howard wats to say that he has forgotten all about his eye surgery now and that he has left the cattery to go into the most wonderful foster home within our RSPCA foster network! He is being spoiled and he turns out to be a lovely and loving gentle giant! We will now be working with colleagues in other charities to find Howard a permanent placement which suits his needs as a FIV+ cat.

Howard's care has really stretched our funds to a minimum and we need your support to continue helping cats like him who need our help. We are a small branch and survive only by public donations. Please help us by donating using the link below:

Update on Silver!

Do you remember poor Silver who came to us with a broken pelvis and was facing euthanasia?
Well Silver has had his surgery at the Ralph now and he is recovering well! He will need about 6-8 weeks of cage rest but our dedicated fosterer is giving him lots of fuss which he is clearly enjoying!!

Silver and many cats like him depend on your donations and support. We would not be able to help without your precious help as we survive on donations from the public alone. We are a small branch and funds are very limited, we can only do more with your help.

Please help us by donating via the following link, or consider fostering and volunteering with us, we would love to hear feom you, thank you!

Meet Silver. Silver was brought into Goddard Vet Group by a member of the public who saw him laying on the side of a busy road. It turned out that Silver who is not even six months old had a broken pelvis and as he wasn't chipped nobody would be able to cover his treatment, such is the life of strays cats. Silver's options were non-existent, no owners to cover the thousand of pounds required to fix him and to allow him to have a life. Euthanasia seemed to be the only option... until it wasn't!

The vet reached out to Cats Protection Hendon & Finchley and RSPCA Finchley and the two organisations have joined forces to save Silver's life despite the common challenges of having very limited funds. Not many people know but the branches survive only on public donations and are run by dedicated volunteers!!

Cats Protection and RSPCA have reached out to several vets and organisations in the search of a life saving procedure for Silver and have found support by the wonderful staff at The Ralph centre of excellence who performed the surgery and saved Silver's life despite all odds were against him.

Silver has a long recovery journey ahead of him and we need your support to continue his care.
Please help us help him, with your support, we can help more animals just like Silver and make a real difference to the animals.
