I had a lot of spare time sitting in the dressing room when not on stage so I started to cross stitch to pass the hours. Then a lovely lady in the costume department taught me how to knit! There was a lot of to-ing and fro-ing as I dropped stitches etc. but I soon got the idea! I had caught the crafting bug! I was soon making lots of things that I didn't have a home for in my little flat! So thing

s were ending up in boxes! So I thought I'd start to share my hand crafted items with others! Each item is unique and I often only make a thing once so you are really getting a one off item. I also love to take custom orders so please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have an idea! I also love photography, countryside walks, the Isles of Scilly and of course, my cat Pete.

I'm sorry for being so quiet on here recently. Sadly back in January our beautiful Pete had to be put to sleep. He had been struggling with IBD for a year and it had got to the point where non of the medicines were helping anymore and he was clearly in pain and very unhappy. It was such a hard decision but definitely the right one for our little boy. He is no longer in pain and is eating all the dreamies he can in heaven now.

So this happened yesterday! I gained an Etsy's Pick badge! When I got the message on Etsy I didn't really realise what it was going on about and it wasn't until I read more into it that I realised what I meant. I feel so pleased that one of my items, knitted in my lounge, on my sofa can get an Etsy's Pick badge. It shows that you don't have to have lots of staff working for you to have valued products.

Bringing this Witch's Hat back in time for Halloween. This time, the top part of the hat is knitted with black sparkly wool (who doesn't love a bit of sparkle). I found some sparkly wool hidden at the bottom of our ottoman and thought it was the perfect addition to this hat. Now available to purchase in my Etsy shop, link in my bio.

⚜️Creative Space⚜️

My creative space is the sofa in my lounge. Luckily, it is very comfy, although there are many distractions. When Pete wants a cuddle, he wants a cuddle and no amount of knitting will stop him. All my wool is kept in our footstool or in my 2 wool bags. This is the lounge looking rather tidy. When I have multiple hats on the go, it definitely doesn't look like this! There is wool everywhere!

⚜️Start the Day⚜️

Pete likes to start the day like a King. He has recently been diagnosed with IBD and is now on steroids that make him very hungry so Pete has his first breakfast at about 8 o clock followed by his second breakfast at 11 o clock, then he has lunch (yes he has lunch!) at 1.30, first dinner at 6 ish, second dinner at 9ish and midnight snack before bed!! He on a chicken only diet at the moment as other foods really seem to affect him so we are always steaming chicken for him! Which is extremely annoying for us but as long as he is happy we are happy.

If anyone has any tips for good food for a cat with IBD I would be most grateful!
