Hills Veterinary Surgery We are a friendly, family-run small animal veterinary practice in Crouch End, London We run by appointment times only.

Hills Veterinary Surgery was established in 1972 by Tony and Carol Hill and has remained a family run business with their daughter, Fiona, joining in 2003. We are now a team of 6 vets who, together with our practice manager, 5 nurses and 2 receptionists, offer a personalised and friendly service to you and your pets in our recently renovated and fully modernised facilities. We are open to collect

food and medicationsfrom 8:30am until 7:00pm on monday-friday and 10:00am until 3:00pm on a saturday. Please call us to book an appointment for your pet. Our appointment times are as follows:

FREE CARRIERS!

Hello guys, Hills is going through a big change soon, we have loads of cat carriers that are ready to go to new homes, come and ask reception for one! We appreciate any donations for them which will be put on one of our charity accounts, but not necessary for the carrier.

Sadly, we have seen a sharp increase in the number of unwanted pets being abandoned at our door. Our space is limited and much needed for sick animals under our care. If you have, or know of, animals who need rehoming, we can help direct you to local rehoming centres where animals will be cared for until a loving home is found. Thank you for your help in spreading the word.

One of our clients brought in a small kitten who was found in the local area, if you recognise this kitten or have seen any similar looking tortie kittens missing online then please contact us, thank you!

Found - a lovely black cat with some white fur markings, approximately 2 years old, female, not microchipped

Nicknamed Noir, she was handed into us underweight and covered in ticks. She's since had treatment and put on some healthy weight. She is an affectionate cat with a big personality.

Meet Duffy and Humpty Dumpty.

These two gorgeous cats (brother and sister) were sadly adandoned on our doorstep a couple of weeks ago. Unsurprisingly, they were initially very nervous, however have come out of their shells and will happily have a head rub and stroke.

They have both been neutered and are reasy to go to their new homes. If you are interested in giving these two lovely cats a home, please contact the practice. 🐱 🐾

*update* Reunited!

Hello everyone! This male, non neutered cat was brought into us on Saturday the 26th of August. It was found in North View road and has a microchip. We are struggling to get hold of the owner and wondered if anyone here recognizes him and could help us get him home. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

UPDATE - Simba has been found and is back safely. Thank you everyone for your help searching for him.

MISSING

Simba has escaped from his foster home last night due to a fire in the building (Teale Street, E2 9BN).

He is a 12 year old neutered male and is microchipped.

Please keep an eye out for him. As he is an indoor cat, and as a result of the incident that happened, he will be very scared and likely hiding.

Please check your gardens, garages and sheds. Thank you.

LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME AGAIN

This is Rocky (previously Tinky Winky). He came to us as a stray a few months ago and was initially scared of humans - we believe he might have been mistreated.

He has since very much improved and loves a cuddle. He was rehomed with a lovely family a couple of months ago but unfortunately he has not been able to accept their existing cat.

We are therefore looking once more for a new home for him. He is a 5 year old neutered male, microchipped and vaccinated and will require a home with access to a garden where he is the only pet.

Jade & Jaden

They are both domestic short-haired cats. Jade is nearly 2 years old (female) and Jaden is one year old (male, her son).

They are a bonded pair and need to be homed together. They inseparable, eating from the same bowl, napping curled up together, or getting zooming and chasing each other over the garden fences.

Jade is chatty and confident, demanding attention with head bumps. Jaden is affectionate with other cats but shy with humans and will need a patient owner to lure him out of his shell.

They have both been neutered and microchipped but still need to be vaccinated. They need an adult home with access to a garden. Jade is slightly more wary of men.

They currently live in a cat colony and are looked after by a local person.

Wow we've had such a busy time recently! Lots of unusual cases! How are we all doing on this gloomy Monday? One of our nurses, Flo, came back after a week away and bought us lots of lovely treats from her holiday in France! Did you know we always have cats available for adoption? We work closely with a local cat charity who regularly bring in a selection of cats (and kittens!) to stay with us to be re-homed, including these little beauties! How can anyone not fall for these beautiful kittens? We are having difficulty finding any of them homes :( only 2 out of the 8 kittens have homes :( if you are interested in re-homing a kitten, please contact us :)

Naughty Mildred certainly is making herself at home! Here she is, helping herself to Mrs Hills' bread!

Last week we lots one of our female chinchillas :( she had a tumor in her leg and unfortunately was not doing very well. Our male chin was castrated a week ago so we tested them together and they get on like a house on fire! We think they had probably been housed together before they were stray. Here they are having a sand bath together :)
