Doug’s Dogs is a leading East London dog walking, daycare, grooming and boarding business providing a positive, hands on, personal approach to looking after your dog. Launched in 2015 by San Francisco trained Doug, our dedicated team of walkers take the dogs to Victoria Park and Hackney Marshes, with occasional adventures in Epping Forest. Using only positive reinforcement techniques, with packs o

f 6 or fewer dogs, we provide maximum enjoyment and safety with energetic, off lead walks. The team’s based in Bow and Hackney Wick and picks up dogs in Tower Hamlets and Hackney. And all week we run training classes from puppy to advanced and even one for rescue and untrained older dogs. If you'd like a quote, call or email and we’ll get straight back to you.

Legal eagles and animal lovers on Facebook ?

Do you know if anyone has tried to prosecute those involved in the use and manufacture of fireworks under the Animal Welfare Act 2006?

The Act prohibits animal cruelty which includes causing unnecessary suffering to an animal. As millions of animals experience unnecessary suffering due to fireworks it would seem that there’s a very strong case for prosecution leading to restrictions or a ban on their use.

I’m no lawyer so may not really know what I’m talking about. Anyone got any thoughts - on the legalities …. not on my intelligence levels 🙂

Tower Hamlets Council has launched its consultation on dog control. As part of the consultation, residents, businesses, and stakeholders are being invited to share their views on whether we should introduce certain rules around dogs in public spaces across the borough.

Say hi to our new team member, Jurate (pronounced : you’re-at-a ). She’s an highly experienced dog handler, having trained her dog Bowser to ‘perfection’. He’s a cockapoo but goes almost every week to protection dog training with the amazing - this training gives him really precise skills as a pet dog, along side all those amazing GSDs and Malinois hounds who want to protect us all for a living 🤩🐶

Today we brought out our most sophisticated tool for helping an overstimulated dog who couldn’t settle …. her snuggly, wuggly bed 😴👏😍😴👏😍
The daycare experience should be carefully tailored to the needs of individual dogs. Cos some of them …..
👉….find spending the day with other dogs hugely rewarding and enjoyable;
👉…..seem to love it but may be getting overstimulated, just can’t switch off and overtime develop unexpected behavioural issues;
👉…..really don’t benefit from and don’t like daycare.
💪Make sure your daycare is right for your dog. Make sure the daycare you choose knows their sh** !💥

Doug’s Dogs is a leading East London dog walking, daycare, training, home boarding and shortly, grooming business providing a positive, hands on, personal approach to looking after your dog. Launched in 2015 by San Francisco trained Doug, our dedicated team of walkers take the dogs to Hackney Marshes. Using only positive reinforcement techniques, with 6 or fewer dogs, we provide maximum enjoyment and safety with energetic, off lead walks.

After the walks daycare dogs come back to our dedicated centre near Mile End (E3), where we run training classes in the evenings and weekend mornings and are setting up a grooming studio. Our aim is to ensure your dog is looked after by the best people in the business and is always happy.
