As a life-long dog lover and owner House of Baxter was launched to offer an experience that ensures the grooming process is both personal and bespoke. A City & Guilds Level Three qualified groomer – I trained at the Groom Arts Academy in Hertfordshire – I offer a one-to-one bespoke service. This means I can build an individual rapport with your dog to ensure their utmost comf

ort and ease. When your dog comes to House of Baxter they are treated as an individual and are guaranteed to have my full attention throughout their visit. Service
House Of Baxter offers a range of bespoke services, from basic nail clipping to a full groom. The full groom will include: bath, blow dry (I don’t use cage drying), de-matting and brush out, nail clipping, ear cleaning, sanitary cleaning and groom (specifically to the clients request). Hand stripping is also offered if the breed requires this service. Pricelist
Are available upon request. All grooming services are catered to on an individual basis, depending on breed, coat condition, temperament and personal taste. Before Visiting House Of Baxter

Here are to girls who popped by yesterday.
First sweet Betty the 9yr old . The usual grooming process for a lakeland is a hand strip but before Betty started visiting me, her last groomer took clippers to her coat which changes the texture from wired hair to soft cotton wool texture. Once this has happened you can't go back to hand stripping
Then there's cheeky Nico 3yr+ old . She's totally bonkers (in a good way) more like a 3 month old puppy. She hasn't been cut in a standard schnauzer way, I have groomed and styled her coat to suit her personality

Two girls who are both regular customers and very different in nature
Betty is 9yrs old the breed is supposed to be hand stripped but before I started grooming her, the previous groomer clipped her coat. This means you can't go back to hand stripping as a clipped coat changes the texture of the coat.
And here is cheeky Nico 3yrs+ . Nico is totally bonkers (in a good way) this isn't a standard schnauzer cut she's been groomed and styled to compliment her cheeky nature.
