Amazing Horse Riding in London

Stag Lodge Stables would like to invite you to join our wonderful riding school situated uniquely on the borders of both Richmond Park and Wimbledon Common. The stables are steeped in rich history and have been a riding establishment since the 17th century. Stag Lodge Stables is proud to be a member of the British Horse Society (BHS) and the Association of British R

iding School (ABRS). We have more than 70 well-trained horses and ponies suitable for all ages and all levels of riding, and a great team of experienced, qualified Riding Instructors who are always friendly and professional throughout your horse riding experience. Stag Lodge Stables operates from two well-equipped sites – the ‘original’ Stag Lodge at the Robin Hood Gate entrance to Richmond Park, and Stag Lodge 2, a purpose-built, multi-stable, multi-arena 11-acre site just half a mile down the road adjacent to the A3 for easy access. With Stag Lodge being so uniquely located there is no roadwork leading us into beautiful open countryside so you can be horse riding in Richmond Park or horse riding on Wimbledon Common within seconds of leaving the stables. We cater for all age ranges and all levels of ability, so whether you simply fancy a hack around Richmond Park, a summer evening Pub Ride, a gentle wander on a Shetland pony for your little one or a full course to take you to competition standard, here at Stag Lodge Stables you can achieve your goal. As well as plenty of opportunity for horse riding in London, we are also one of the largest Pony Club Centres in the country, perfect for budding equestrians to immerse themselves in the equine world. We are proud to offer:

A variety of horse riding lessons for adults and children starting from age 3

A variety of riding courses to cater for all ages of children

A variety of riding courses to cater for all levels of adults

The immensely popular Pony Weeks for children which operate in every half term and school holidays throughout the year

Beautiful hacking over thousands of lush acres in Richmond Park and Wimbledon Common, both of which are literally metres from our stable doors! We had a very successful Feb Half Term here at Stag Lodge. Fun was had by everyone taking part in some of the courses we had running. From the regular pony week for children aged 5-13 years to our teenage jumping groups that had the chance to go out and compete. We still have spaces for Easter Pony camps, book soon to secure your slot. 🐣 🐰 🌷

❤️Jasper❤️ Today we waved off this gentle Black Beauty as he went off to his retirement home. Many of us will treasure happy memories riding this stunning boy. He will now get to enjoy the retirement he deserves and we look forward to hearing all about his new chapter.

To take advantage of this offer: login to your stag lodge 1 account, go to tokens, select weekday saver token. Once you have purchased this token when you go to make a booking you can use the token at checkout.
