Spring is (just about) here! And horse compost/ manure is collectable FREE from the car park in Ealing Riding School, just off the North Circular near Ealing Common during our long daily opening hours.

Bio-organic fuel for roses, fruit and to give fresh richness layering to all depleted soils.

Please bring own spade and bags - no need to book/ call in advance unless high van needs top gates open (call 15 mins before arrival).

We serve allotments, so do share this post please widely to allotment holders and all keen gardeners. Allotments can book early Saturday morning one tonne landrover delivery (charge depending on postcode - do email [email protected]).

Pony Weeks (Day and Residential, sharing a common room) commence 16th February running throughout the Spring, Summer and Autumn school holidays for those who have already mastered some pony-riding skills, and who want to take the next steps in horse-riding and care.

Pony Weeks, 7 -15 years, run for 4 full days Tu Wed Thurs Friday camps 10-4pm. Option for Thursday overnight.

Ealing Riding School is a 6 acre riding & forest school & outdoor activity site situated on Gunnersbury Avenue, between Chiswick and Ealing, 5 mins walk from Ealing Common tube, with bicycle stable and 30 space car park.

Gallivanter Meadow Camp. Group Leader required for the Spring and Summer of 2025 for all day leadership, survival & sustainability camps for children 4-14 years. Out of school term work 9-4pm, and weekend parties an option. Forest school & outdoor passion & experience required and enhanced DBS. Could suit teacher, TA, parent or experienced student. Lovely team in place. Start early February

Maintenance & landscape person 2-3 days per week. Duties include upkeep of clubhouse, stables, cottage, riding arenas and the meadow area. Needs individual with experience. Ability to drive a tractor attractive! Immediate start.

Bookkeeper in Quickbooks. WFH & remote after induction. Required to take downloaded data, reconcile and prepare for accountants. approx 1 day per week.

Interested in horses and learning to ride a horse?
The one hour group Get Ready to Ride session runs every Fri (2pm) and Sat (4pm).
There you will learn why this sport provides such strong physical and mental health benefits for all - as well as its welfare and entrance requirements. You will meet some of our 40 horses and coach team - and be instructed in first steps riding theory in the stables and lecture room.
Set in our West London Stable site, it is mandatory for adult entry (all 4 levels) and is highly recommended for parents thinking of signing up their child/ren on a riding course (5 levels). Book here:-

Despite the weather everyone had a brilliant time that attended our annual Christmas dressage to music event. Riders efforts didn’t go unnoticed and the ponies were fabulous 🎅🏻🎄🎁

It was the week before Christmas, and all over the Stables....... school holiday camps & activities were starting.

Wedn 18th December. Christmas Dressage Show 4-8 pm with 6 pm Singalong & Snacks

Massive congratulations to our Head of volunteers Domi for passing her BHS stage 2 exam and to our four students; Milla, Annabelle, Maia and Leila for passing their BHS stage 1. All attended our 8 & 12 week courses working through the BHS syllabus and helping students to prepare for their practical exams. Very well deserved 👏🏻

Stables are very spooky places....mysterious whinnying from every corner, ponies startling at shapes we do not see. Horses sense the unseen and the pagan forces around us.

Thursday 31st October we have an Early Years Spooky Pony event 1-2.30 pm
free for 2-6 year olds. Opt for some extra scary storytelling in the cobwebby Warm Barn.

For Autumn Half Term - Six different types of 5 Star ERS Summer Camps start in our walled garden site on 22nd October through to 5th November. All are 10am - 4 pm for ages 4 3/4- 14.
Which camp would your son/ daughter like to do?
Some are for the pony or animal passionate, some for the active outdoorsy in our Scandinavian - style Meadow Camp with barns and treehouses, wood mountain surfing and animal yards. All build skill and confidence.
