☀️🐾 Summer Sun & Pet Safety 🐾☀️
With the warmer weather finally here, it’s important to remember that our furry friends can suffer from the heat too!

Here are a few hot weather tips to keep your pets safe and comfortable:

🔹 Never leave pets in cars – Even a few minutes can be life-threatening.
🔹 Avoid walking during peak heat – Early mornings or late evenings are safest.
🔹 Watch for signs of heatstroke – Excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, or vomiting.
🔹 Paws on the pavement? If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!
🔹 Plenty of shade & fresh water – Always keep them cool and hydrated.

☀️ If you’re concerned your pet might be overheating, call us immediately – heatstroke can be fatal if not treated quickly.

🛑 Don’t Let Fleas & Ticks Hitch a Ride! 🐾

As the warmer months roll in, so do fleas and ticks — and they’re more than just a nuisance. These tiny pests can carry serious diseases that put your pets (and your family) at risk.

Today we say “see you soon” to our incredible vet nurse, who is heading off on maternity leave!

Dairine has been such a vital part of our team—bringing compassion and a calm touch to every patient (and every panicked owner!). While we’ll miss her dearly, we’re so excited for this next chapter in her life.
