Rainbow Rehoming Rescue centre for cats and dogs. At our Centre in Eglinton Co.

Derry/Londonderry NI we have space for approximately 15 dogs and 40 cats as well as working alongside foster families. Our cats and dogs are neutered, micro-chipped and have up to date worm, flea treatments and vaccinations (dogs also have a kennel cough vaccination). It is thanks to our caring staff and volunteers and the generosity of our supporters that we continue to find loving homes for the

cats and dogs that needed our help.

Maria was 1 of 4 (2 puppies) dogs who came into our care from the same home due to a member of the family having an allergy.

The lovely folks @ Pawzz Doggy Daycare & Grooming have since gave Maria a much needed pamper, tidy up and a lovely new collar.

Maria is the loveliness wee dog - she's got a great temperament.....🐶💓

He waited so long for his forever home.....

It brings us such joy to see our wee pal so happy and content in his new home alongside one of his new feline pals Pumpkin. 🐱🐱🐱

Today, we took ZENA to Off Lead Agility

She loved it 🤩🥰

And we loved watching her 🥰

ZENA is such a good dog, and she deserves to be happy in a home, enjoying life alongside her family, not in a rescue centre for 7 MONTHS!!!

HISTORY:
Zena was a pet who ended up in our care because her home did not have enough time for her.

She lacked training and was extremely reactive to traffic. She also hadn't been socialised very well with other dogs. 😔

PERSONALITY:
Zena absolutely adores people, and interacting with people makes her VERY happy. 🥰💓

She's also ....

✔️ Strong

She loves spending time with us away from the centre and gets all excited with happiness when she knows it's time for walkies. 🐾🤩

She's also found her playful side and squeaky
toys are her favourite. 🤩

PROGRESS SINCE ARRIVING ⬇️

TRAINING: She has made brilliant progress and is now lead trained.

TRAFFIC: She has made vast improvement in overcoming her fear of traffic and is now only slightly reactive to large vehicles and lorries.

DOGS: She has been out walking with a few dogs and is more comfortable around small breeds.

She could potentially share her new home with a settled, calm dog - multiple meets and greets would be required. 🐶💛🐶
