Hi everyone! Just a wee update to let you all know our wee Ella is doing well. It has been very difficult since she's been home but the last couple of weeks she has been doing a lot better and has finally started gaining a bit of weight. She's such a happy wee doll 💗
I have to say that even though I wouldn't be anywhere else other than with my baby girl giving her the care she needs, I am still really missing my work and all my wee furry cutomers 💔 It breaks my heart everytime I get a text from one of my regulars asking if I'm back at work yet and I have to say no and that I don't know when I will be 😔 But at least the last couple of weeks has shown us that there is light at the end of the tunnel. It won't always be so hard and she will get bigger and stronger 💗
I'm just so grateful to have the customers I did as you have all been so understanding and supportive ☺ Would LOVE to see some piks of my wee furry friends so pop one in the comments if you have a minute ⬇️😃

💗 Update 💗
After 3months and 3days in Hospital, Ella finally got home on 16th March 😊 We are still up and down to the Royal and Altnagelvin for regular check ups but hopefully we can now keep hospital stays to a minium! It has been amazing having her home, we are so happy our family is back together again and her 2 brothers adore her 🥰
It has however been a bit of a shock to the system having her home, it is taking us a while to get used to our new way of life. She is on a lot of medication throughout the day and we hook her up to her treatment every night for 12hrs. We didn't appreciate just how full on it would be and unfortunately this means i won't be able to return to work any time soon 💔 Realising this has been and still is very difficult for me. I love my job and i love my customers. I have been going now for 10yrs and my wee business is so important to me. I never expected any of this but my baby girl needs me and so do my boys.
I WILL REOPEN! Just at this moment in time i don't know when that will be but i know it won't be any time this year. I really hope all my wee furry customers are keeping well, i miss them all 💗 Thank you all for your support, Alison 🐾✂️💗

🐾 Update 🐾
Hi everyone, just thought i'd give you all a wee update. So Ella is still in the Royal Children's Hospital since 13th Dec. She generally responds well to her treatment but the last 4/5wks she has had COVID then Norovirus and now the Flu which has set her back a bit so we have no idea yet when we will be getting home 🤦‍♀️
We are exhausted and hate that our family have been separated for so long but we are just glad there is a treatment for her and hopefully she won't get anymore sicknesses after this Flu and we can get her back on track.
We have started our training for us to be able to do her treatment at home so that we're ready to rock as soon as she is 😊
I still have no idea when i will be back at work 🤦‍♀️ All i can say is that I WILL DEFINITELY be back at some point but at the minute we just have to focus on getting her home and then when she is home we need to get settled in our new routine.
I hope all my wee furry clients are keeping well, I miss them all 💗🐾

Please everyone if you can donate anything at all to this no matter how small, PLEASE do! Bella-Rose's Mummy is one of the first people i met when Ella was transferred to The Royal. She has been so kind to me over the last few weeks and i have become friends with her and a couple of other mum's who's children are there long term. Emma has helped keep me sane through this whole thing. Her and Paul have fought so hard for their beautiful baby girl and they need some help. What they're going through breaks my heart 😔

Our baby girl 💗
Ella was admitted to Altnagelvin on Tuesday and after some tests and scans she was diagnosed with a very rare Kidney condition called Congenital Nephrotic Syndrome. We were transferred to the Royal Children's Hospital on Wednesday as she needs specialist treatment from the Renal team. She is going to be up there for a long time and eventually we will be trained to treat her ourselves at home. In a few years she will need a Kidney Transplant maybe around 5yrs old.
This is another huge shock for our family 😔 We hate to see her go through this and we hate that again we are all going to be split up and for such a long time 💔 BUT we are so thankful there does seem to be a treatment. There will be lots of ups and downs along the way but if this had even been 30yrs ago the prognosis would have been very very different and we are lucky that the team in the Royal have dealt with this condition before.
I am missing all my wee customers 🐾 and it is still 100% my plan to keep Blissful Brush going but it may just take a bit longer than expected. I will keep you all updated 💗
