Here's some pictures of the lovely Willow on her walk this morning and some from last week's walk that I forgot to post! For those wondering, Willow doesn't wear a muzzle because she is aggressive, she wears one because she will attempt to eat every non-edible thing she can fit in her mouth, and with acorns and conkers dropping now, it isn't safe! 😅 Those who know me already know that I stand VERY strongly for the use of muzzles, and I believe all dogs should at minimum be comfortable wearing one (Astrid is trained to wear one and is fully comfortable in hers too)! There are plenty of reasons a dog may wear a muzzle, such as: creating space for nervous/reactive dogs, preventing them from scavenging/eating inedible things, preventing them from licking wounds (Astrid much prefers a muzzle over a cone!), for wearing at the vet if they are nervous and of course, helping to prevent bites. Muzzles are a brilliant tool, and anyone using one is a brilliant, responsible owner! You never know when you may need one. ☺️
