How hot is too hot? 🥵 After seeing so many people still out and walking their dogs yesterday in the 32°c weather, I thought I'd made this poster to highlight the real risks that hot weather brings! Heatstroke is no joke! It is not a risk worth taking. ☀️🌡️🔥

We had a lovely weekly walk with client dog Willow yesterday morning! The weather was glorious, and the girls had a great time at a new park! Willow had some really good interactions with some dogs that approached with questionable body language, so I'm very proud of her for that. She's come on so far with how she greets other dogs! ☺️🐾☀️

We had a lovely shaded walk with lots of splashing this morning with , before the temperature had started properly rising. The girls had a great time in the stream, and enjoyed their brief zoomies on the long lawn. Very glad we got back home before the heat got ridiculous. Remember with the heat rising over the coming days, a dog has never died from missing a walk, but plenty do from being walked in hot weather. Anything over 24° can be deadly with the right conditions, so please keep your dogs cool and safe! ☀️🐾🥵

I am pleased to announce that we now have more hours available for dog walking! These hours are as follows:

Mondays - All day
Tuesdays - All day
Wednesdays - Until 12pm
Thursdays - All day
Fridays - Pack Walks (10am - 12pm OR 2pm - 4pm)

We had a lovely morning walk yesterday with and we've gotten to a point where Astrid can start coming along again (we wanted to have 1:1 walks with Willow until she understood cues without Astrid around, as she gets very excited when her best friend is around) and they had a great time together! We did lots of sniffing, did a few recall/engagement drills, and even did some proper off-lead time while there was nobody around! Willow was brilliant, listened to everything I asked of her, and in return was able to have a really good off-lead play with Astrid! 💛🐾☺️

We did something a little different today and went over to to walk some rescue greyhounds! Almost all of the sweet souls in this post (plus many more) are available for adoption! They are absolutely gorgeous dogs, such lovely characters, and were very good for us today. It is certainly something we will be doing again, and I urge anyone who is looking for a dog to consider giving one of these beautiful babies a home! 🥹💛🐾

We had another great walk with miss today, and we went somewhere different for today's walk! We did some exploring of the wooden climbing area, as well as the forest and stream! She had a lot of fun and was overall a very good girl, despite trying to eat lots of wood off the ground! 😅💛

We had a lovely day-sit with my partner's family dog, Jenson! We went for a great 2 hour relaxed/sniffy walk at Elvaston Castle, which was fun. Jenson and Astrid are great friends so they both had a blast, and we did some work on Jenson's engagement in distracting environments which he aced! It was so quiet we even got to work on Jenson's offlead skills and recall. They were both absolutely knackered when we got back to the car! 💛🐾☺️
