Dogs age faster than us. That's why you might find your once obedient buddy is now displaying the signs of a hormonal teenager....and adolescence can kick in from 6mths & last, in some cases until your pooch is 2/3yrs old! 😬

Just like hoomans, when they reach a certain level of chemical imbalance, they become challenging! This can present itself in many forms, for example:

🐾 Different behaviours around other dogs - what may have once been the norm, may now have taken a questionable turn
🐾 Chewing
🐾 Fearfulness - their usual confidence may reduce
🐾 Extreme independence
🐾 Increase/Decrease in energy levels

🌟 Meet the Team Monday 🌟

Boon (Owner & Head Trainer) 👋

I have had dogs ALL my life but they were secondary to horses for most of it!! That is, until I brought Matty home at 8 weeks old.

Having discovered “Absolute Dogs”, I started training Matty & my other 3 dogs (!) with their game-based training.

Despite being socialised & trained well, Matty has always been incredibly nervous & hyperactive. So with this in mind I put all my efforts into helping him cope with life, leading me to become a Pro Dog Trainer!

I love working with dogs & their people. I am extremely proud to say that I have helped almost 200 clients, from a variety of backgrounds, personalities & training needs.

I adore what I do, & have spent a lot of time honing my craft & facilities to make sure all our Dog-in-a-Box members benefit from the same great experiences!

Puppies & Potty Training Success 🚽🐶

Consistency is key! Take your puppy outside every time they wake up, eat, or drink. Praise them for doing their business outside. Skip the puppy pads to avoid mixed signals. Patience and consistency will lead to a toilet-trained pup for life!
