NEWS ON THE FETE👇

Unfortunately we are having to announce that Robbins Nest will not longer be able to attend Glenmores Christmas Fete. 😭

Due to some circumstances out of our control, we aren't able to make the fete however, if you have ALREADY ordered for collection via the fete, you will be entitled to free delivery regardless of spend on that same date. ❤️

If you are still requiring collection rather than delivery, we can facilitate this by collecting from our shepshed address rather than Glenmore. 🙂

We are VERY limited on Christmas stock remaining after a whopping 60+ bundles were ordered within 24hrs of release. 🔥

We have 2 of the premium bundles remaining and 10 of the £3.50 goodie bags. We are also releasing a very limited amount of Christmas boxes that are priced at the standard christmas box cost (£8) but will contain a mix of products out of each bundle due to limited remaining stock. So keep an 👀 out for these in the next couple of days.

We will also be releasing a limited edition Christmas box with high end branded products and treats in packaging for those who are less into the natural chew type and more into natural meat goodies! 😍

We are going to return to the wholesaler as soon as we can to restock the standard Christmas boxes! Please note however, some of the stock for the standards may not be available depending on our supplier so if we have to adjust the standard boxes for restock, we will advertise them 🤩😍🥰

FIRST CHRISTMAS RELEASE 🎄🎁🎅🤶❄️

Robbins Nest Pet Supplies has finally got round to making and photographing our first lot of natural dog treat christmas hampers! 🎁

This year we have paid extra attention to pricing and done what we can to keep costs as low as possible! Our supplier has increased costs over 30% since we last opened, meaning we have tried to do the very best we can to give you a fabulous selection of natural dog treat hampers but at the best price possible ❤️

Below are our 3 main hampers available this Christmas! 😍 We do however have limited numbers so availability will be on a first come, first served basis.🥰🎁

Pre-orders are open NOW🤩 and they will be available for collection from the Glenmore centre Christmas fete or delivered in Shepshed. We have 2 delivery dates, one being after the Christmas fete for those not attending and one mid December. Delivery will be free for orders over £15 and charged at £2 for orders under. ❤️🥰

We have managed to pick up more than enough Jumbo twisted pizzles and they are ready for collection/delivery!

If you are in Shepshed, I am going to do a whip round of deliveries of the Jumbo pizzles tomorrow. These deliveries will be charged at £1 but for those who have multiples they will be delivered free. This is for shepshed only. If you are close by but not in shepshed, please message for a delivery cost quote if you cannot collect.

Collection is available from shepshed for anybody else! 🥰 Payment needs to be before delivery and if I haven't received payment before I leave, it will not be on board.

PIZZLE PRE-ORDER 🤪

We are running to do a wholesale order tomorrow ready to make our absolute epic Christmas goodie bags and boxes tomorrow, but we've just spotted these chonky chews! 💪

These are 45-50cm Jumbo twisted pizzles! As these are twisted they're just that little bit tougher and pizzles are one of the most palatable treats for dogs that I know! 😍

Standard 12cm pizzles can be priced anything from £2-4 and alot of these can be quite thin 🐕

These absolute CHONKERS will be priced at £9 a piece and are ideal for those mega chewers. 😍

Is it abit naughty to say the C word?!😉

So as you all know Robbins Nest closed due to family circumstances and we have no plans to fully reopen in the near future just yet😔

However! 🤔

Robbins Nest are thinking of bringing some products back for the festive period, to keep Sam on her toes with the 4 weeks off at university! 🤶🎅🎄

We are hoping to launch a Limited range for the festive period and hoping to bring ranges of products back at particular seasonal events in the year! This is mainly so it remains manageable whilst our situation "irons out" but I can still do what I love the most throughout my last year of university ❤️

Although we can't provide the usual "pet shop" experience, we are hoping our fun, affordable ranges can provide some doggos a nice selection of natural treats in the seasonal celebrations! 🥰 We will remain low key and relaxed with a Limited range, but still the usual standard we always provided! 🥳

🐕 People struggling with an existing allergy profile and finding a food suitable for their lives and their dogs! RN consults can help you find a feed suitable for your lifestyle and your dogs health when you're dog is faced with a complex allergy profile.

🐶 People wanting a big bang for their buck! Are you unhappy with the food your feeding your dog but unsure if you can afford the top end feeds? Would you like support in finding a feeding combination that sits within a budget but gives you the best product for your price? Some canine feeds are actually priced the exact same but sit in opposite ends of the quality scale!

🐕‍🦺 Is your dogs food just not quite suiting them but you're struggling to identify the potential trigger? Is the food your feeding causing 💩,💨 or skin and coat issues but you're just not sure what to do and don't want a complex time consuming routine? ⏰️ Did you also know that ingredients in feed can be a main factor in behaviour/drive in dogs? ❓️

What will you get? 🐽
- 30-45 minute consultation on current feed, desired outcomes, current undesired symptoms, budgets, feed preference.
- A feed plan including 3 feed options, each with an overview of particular benefits.

🌭After the consultation the feed plan will be sent to you within 5 working days post consult. For more complex allergy profiles I will aim to produce 3 diet options however this may not be achievable if profiles are complex and contradictory.

I can only work with allergy profiles that have already been completed. I cannot investigate potential allergies but I can advise on how to do this. I AM NOT a veterinary professional and cannot suggest holistic remedies or feed that can eliminate illness. I can support requirements already given by veterinary professionals. With all of the options I create for you, it will and always will be your choice to feed your dog the diets written and you should always proof read all feed and ingredients given.

Hello you lovely lot! 🥰

So as many of you know, we closed Robbins Nest Pet Supplies a while back due to family circumstances and prioritising our family in the difficult time we were in. Since then, I have finished studying and progressed to a final research year! 📖

As things are 'levelling out' as say, I am looking to delve further into my true passion, canine nutrition! Robbins Nest was always a huge part of me and even though it still isn't viable to reopen Robbins Nest, I am hoping to introduce a more niche side to my studying and passions 🌟

My final research year is focused around canine nutrition and with my previous success in the sector (an 84% University grading), I am starting to build my portfolio and professionalism in applying this to the industry.📚

As a result of this, I am opening my side business, Robbins Nest Pet Consultations, to help me find my feet with private Consultations in canine nutrition. I hope to expand species and services in the future, but currently focusing specifically on canine nutrition. My side business will remain low pressured due to my study and I won't be constantly advertising or pushing my services. 😎

So this is just a big shout out to say that you may see a couple of posts coming up to show exactly what I can and will be offering, to see if any of those may be of help! My initial services will also be reduced in order to build my portfolio. This is in no way a judgement of my ability but more a compensation for any hiccups in the smooth service I hope to offer!🥹

Hey everyone! I know we aren't running, so this might not reach many people, but I thought I'd ask incase!

I'll be starting a research project at university soon on canine nutrition and will be in need of some participants!

I will have more details to come but it will involve being offered 2/3 different types of food (bitesized amount) everyday for up to a week. The food will be provided and it will be either just meat or a proper dog food etc.

I am studying canine diet preference and the current popular diets and would love if anyone can help. You'd be fully informed, able to withdraw at anytime, food provided and it would just take a very short time per day (just before meal time).

I can offer a small gift bag for every participant.

I am looking for:

5+ Raw fed dogs (can be combination fed like kibble and raw)

Any dog can take part if theyre 6 months old and above. If there are any health issues can you please declare prior to see if you could be included.

You'd be helping me complete my trial and hopefully find some trends which will help with doggo health and nutrition! 🥰

So here it goes, a very late goodbye post! 😪❤️

I have to start by saying a massive thank you. I know I've posted thank yous a billion times in the past, but not many people know the true impact of your support and loyalty to a small business. Some of you have been with me since opening week, and I have to say, I'll miss you! I never expected when starting Robbins Nest (previously petpa) I'd have such amazing customers who are so incredibly kind. 🥰

Now for the farewell malarkey...

I started this business toward the middle of my degree when I discovered a huge passion for nutrition. Most people who know me personally know that my life hasn't quite followed a path of normality, so for me to be where I am today is an achievement I didn't expect to see. ❤️

Letting go of Robbins Nest was such a difficult decision for me. I knew competitors would swiftly pop up their advertisements as soon as I closed, so making sure this was right was something I wanted to make sure of. I invested alot of time, expertise and funding into Robbins Nest, and whereas I am lucky to not have suffered consequences from closure, its been sad to see it go.😪

Now here's a little bit of farewell advice from me! 🤣🥰

The animal professional community around this area is fierce. It is packed full of professionals who will most likely tell you different things! There's professionals who will be true to their work, some who may be slightly more competitive to gain custom. So I've listed a few things on my departure to help you pick the best professionals for you, and maybe some red flags to avoid. I know you probably want to skip this part, but most of you know how passionate I am and I don't take any persuading to geek out and share knowledge 🤣🤣🥰

TOP TIPS🥰:

🐷 Natural treats and suppliers are now inundating the market, so particularly If you're a newbie needing advice on natural feeds, please check what the person is claiming the food does and their background. Not all animal professionals are correctly trained in nutrition (actually quite a small amount) so if they're doing "an animal qualification" please do a little research also and avoid putting your animals at risk ❤️

🐹 If you spot an animal professional putting quite negative comments or forward/hostile remarks on advertisements, please question to why. As a professional, I have always kept to promoting why people should buy from me, if I was to try to hammer down others rather than promote my own, I'd be showing alot about my own service/products. I put my trust into the professionals, so if i see you putting negative comments on other business pages, I instantly see a red flag and it isn't a good look!

🐇 Support small businesses! I know my previous comment can seem pretty negative, but that is more rare than common. Small businesses rely on your support and whereas most of my treats could be found at big stores, supporting those businesses makes a huge difference to not only them, but our local economy.

So on that note I say goodbye ❤️

I have loved every second and I hope to return with bigger and better things in the future. I have applied for further study to be the best professional I can be, so if anyone ever needs advice, you know where to ask. ❤️
