I have six of my own all rescued from abandonment or rehomed from families who realised what a big commitment they are. Please buy chocolate 🍫 bunnies this Easter or if you're serious for a ten year commitment adopt from a rescue.

It’s sadly that time of year that cute bunnies are highlighted, and children want one… over the the next few months, it will be time for the kids to get bored with them, and the parents finding them either an unwanted chore, or realising they can’t give them what they need.

Rescues are already overflowing with unwanted buns, so what will happen to them 🤔! Their fate may not be a happy one… so please THINK🧐 before you buy a bun.
They are the 3rd most popular pet in the UK, but they are also the most neglected!

Forgot to add the girls videos from yesterday's walks🙈 It's really important when training your dogs that they understand both verbal and hand signals. As kindly demonstrated by the girls yesterday. I currently have laryngitis so I cannot talk to them. But both followed hand signals (and a slight biscuit lure for Daisy) to understand which way I wanted to go at junctions.

Rabbits are not short term pets!! They are complex, exotic animals with a much longer life span than some may think. They deserve to live long happy lives, with company of their own kind, a safe environment, space to exhibit natural behaviours, savvy vets and good healthy food!
