13 years young Kellie ❤️ a petulant teenager who was particularly naughty on my most recent visit 🙈

Kellie was rescued from Loughborough Kitten Rescuers ❤️ and now lives happily in her forever home 🏡 with her Mummy, who takes care of her girl perfectly 👌

Kellie disgraced herself at her grooming appointment by letting off a little trump 🤣 well, actually not so little, it was loud enough to make me and her Mummy jump! 🤣

I think it was just another tactic from Kellie ❤️ who really wasn't in the mood for my visit, although most times, she's not as naughty 😉 so she obviously had gotten out of the wrong side of bed 🛌🌙 that day!

Pretty Abbey 🩷🩵🩷

I've been grooming this lovely girl for over 5 years now and she's pretty difficult to get a photo 📸 of and to groom, she's really not a fan of mine 🙈

Abbey loves to tell me off 🤣 swipe at me, scream 😱 and generally cause problems 🤣 but all is forgiven Abbey, you are just a spicy 🌶🌶 girl who likes to tell me about your disgust at my visits in typical Ragdoll fashion. She's a princess 👸 😍 💖

Abbey lives with her brother 🩵 Freddie 🩵 who is much more amicable and has a very silky coat 🧥so is online groomed every other visit, Abbey has a very fluffy and very big coat that requires far more maintenance than her brothers 🐾🐈

Here she is relaxing after her recent groom 💖 although after washing herself she doesn't look ad nicely groomed as when she left the table 😉 but she felt amazing and will feel so much better 💖

She's a lovely girl but my she is a very wriggly little worm 🪱 who is very trying on the patience🤣‼️

Although, I must say on her most recent grooming session, she did behave much better ✅️ proving that she can indeed be a good girl ❤️🐈💛🐾

The incredibly beautiful 😍 Jessie 🩷

At 3.5 years old, gorgeous Jessie 🩷 is almost a grown up by Maine Coon standards, who are said to be fully mature at around 4 years of age, isn't she just stunning? 😍🐾🐈

An absolutely incredibly well-behaved girl for her grooming appointments 👌 is a testament to her breeders of what good type and temperament they are producing 🩷 It's always vitally important to do your research on breeders and their ethics, Maine Coons grow very big so it's very important they are of a good temperament, after all they can do you quite a lot of damage if they are difficult to handle! I can personally vouch for that after meeting many Maine Coons over the years‼️

Jessie is a shining ✨️ example of the breed and I very much look forward to visiting her for her sessions with me and catching up with her lovely Mummy ❤️

Well done Jessie, look forward to seeing you again 🐾

It's always fun 😁 to visit Pickle ❤️ whose 7 years of age and believed to be a Ragdoll cross. He was rescued from the RSPCA 🐾 He's a very handsome and lovely boy who likes to shout 😀 at me throughout his grooming sessions. He's incredibly fond of chatting 👍🐾🐈

Pickle 🩵 has a bit of a fetish for bringing home various items whilst out on his travels 🐾 most recently it was a pair of bikini 👙 bottoms that he brought through the cat flap 🙈 Lord knows what's next! I dread to think 🤔

His hauls usually consist of packaging 📦 but he's not fussy and has brought home socks 🧦 leaves 🍂and during lockdown (when cats had more freedom than us‼️) he would also appear with covid social distancing signs and disposable masks 😷 ‼️🙈 He's definitely got an eye 👁 for things he really doesn't need 😉 He's well on his way to hoarder status‼️🤔🤣

Groomed once every 3 months ✅️ Pickle is mainly in great shape with only the odd knot in his trousers 👖 we did drop down to 4 months previously but it didn't end well with a bit of shaving of matting needed, so 3 months it is and I'm looking forward to hearing what Pickle 🩵 brings home between now and his next date 📅 with me!

Here's Persian Bernard 🩵 he's groomed every 8 weeks as Persian coats grow quickly and are high maintenance 🙈

He is such a good boy ♂️ for his appointments, Bernard is the perfect 👌 gentleman who I always look forward to visiting. It's rare to get such a well-behaved furry client ❤️

If only everyone was as good as lovely Bernard 😍

Beautiful Missy 🖤🧡💛

I'm beginning to wonder 🤔 what's going on with these usually naughty torties, another very well-behaved young lady, but she didn't used to be‼️

Rescued some years ago and rehomed to a lovely family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 from Missy 🖤🧡💛 was a force to be reckoned with back when I first met her some years ago, she didn't want to be groomed ❌️ and made it quite clear what an absolute inconvenience I was to her 🤣🤣

However, with age and regular grooming sessions ✅️ this lovely girl ♀️ has turned into a delight 😊 and I'm so happy with the progress we've made together ❤️

Although a shorthaired girl 💛 Missy has a lot of undercoat removed at her appointments, which keeps the house free from fur ✅️ Missy much cooler 😎 and helps with hairball control that some cats 🐈 suffer from

After her groom, Missy 🖤🧡💛 wandered off into the garden 🌻🐞🦋🐝🌱 and provided me with the perfect photo 📸 opportunity to show you how pretty 😍 she is!

Introducing 13 years young Tortoiseshell Lady Marnie 🖤🧡💛 who I had the pleasure of meeting recently for the first time for a manicure 💅 and pedicure.

Marnie was rehomed 7 months ago to a lovely family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 who've made her incredibly welcome 🙏🏻 so she's settled in perfectly 👌 like she's always been there 🏡 she's also a house cat who goes into the garden 🦋🐌🌳🥀🐞🦟 on her harness so she's unable to roam, although in her lovely new home, I don't think she'd want to wander far.

Tortoiseshell 🖤🧡💛 cats are often fiesty, but Marnie broke that conception as she happily allowed me to clip her claws and didn't show any signs of protesting 😊

I was quite taken with Marnie 🖤🧡💛 it's a good job I didn't see the post of her needing a new home 🏡 all those months ago, as she really spoke to me, she would of ended up here I think, something incredibly special about this lovely lady! ❤️

Scrappy is a super sweet little boy ❤️ whose very interested in everything that's going on and a total Mummy's boy ❤️ while Monkey 🐒 is a little more nervous but a total love bug whose so very handsome ❤️

Great start to the day with compliant Casper 🧡

I think the reason this usually naughty boy 😸 was so well behaved was because we were only doing a manicure 💅 and pedicure today, so he could tolerate me for the short amount of time ⏲️ it took to get the job done! 🤣🤣

Well done lad, next time it's a full groom, so I expect you'll be back to "Cantankerous Caspar" 🙈 🧡🤍🧡🤍🙄

Fantastic Mr Fox 🦊 had a lion 🦁 clip yesterday and again just in time for the mini heatwave 🔥🥵 we've experienced today 😀 How's that for planning? ✅️

I first met Fox 🧡🤍 a few years ago, when we at first just shaved out the matted area's and groomed the rest of his remaining coat 🐾 Fox really struggled at the time with tolerating his grooming sessions, he wasn't aggressive at all but he was very nervous and stressed by the procedure 😓 The next time I met with Fox 🧡🤍 he had quite a few matted areas so a lion 🦁 clip was the best solution, as Fox 🧡🤍 also used to suffer with an upset tummy 💩💩💩 so he would often have accidents and this would transfer to his legs so we'd have to shave those areas also to get him clean again.

Fox 🦊 found the lion clip much easier to deal with and so it was decided going forward we would keep him trimmed short to save stressing him and make his coat far more manageable for his Mummy ❤️ to deal with between my visits. Fox found the lion 🦁 clip very managable, and me and his Mummy were very happy too that Fox wasn't getting upset during his grooms 🦊🤍🧡

While I don't agree with clipping a cat for fashion and purely aesthetic ressons, it is a judgement call when a cat is stressed about grooming, suffers heat exhaustion, or has medical problems ⛑️ that means a full lion 🦁 clip is needed and in this case, the lovely Fox 😍 was a prime example of comfort over vanity.

Fox also had a diet change that meant his runny bum 💩 cleared up, and he has now gained weight 😀 and looks much better and happier, too! 😍🐾🐈‍⬛🧡🤍

Well done to Fox's Mummy for persisting with getting her boy's tummy sorted and realising Fox's needs with regards to grooming 🧡🤍❤️

Happy weekend Fox 🦊 who incidentally if you hadn't already guessed is a very handsome Maine Coon 😍

Ellie 🩶 who is a female ♀️ British Shorthair at 12 years of age, she's looking in fabulous shape! ✅️

Ellie 🩶 is groomed around every 3 months to keep her coat free from the dense excessive undercoat that's common in this breed 🙈 and if left will start to clump and matt, looks like Ellie was groomed just in time for today's soaring temperatures 🌡 😳 ✅️

In typical British Shorthair fashion, Ellie isn't a fan of her grooming appointments 🙄 but over the 5 years I've known her she's been getting slightly better with each visit 😄 although given the chance she'd still like to shred my hands ✋️ and munch on my fingers 👉 👈 🤣

Doesn't seem so long ago I posted this photo 💔 after what turned out to be my last visit to groom Hercule.

At 19 years of age, sadly Hercule crossed Rainbow Bridge 🌈 after his vet said there was nothing more that could be done for him, his family are naturally devastated at losing their precious boy.

I've been grooming Hercule for some years now 💙 and always look forward to my trips to see him and his sister, Lady P 🩷 it won't be the same without dear Hercule there 😢

After a long and happy life with his family, Hercule 💙 has been buried in his favourite spot in the garden where he enjoyed meeting visitors 🐈🐾

Run free Hercule, you'll be very missed ❤️

My thoughts are with Muir, Jackie and Emily at this incredibly sad time 💔 I know how much you all loved him 🌈💙💔🐾🐈

Handsome 😍 Tuexedo 🖤🤍🖤 Male Domestic Shorthair Charles had a manicure 💅 and pedicure yesterday on his 8th Birthday! 🎂🥳🎉🪅🎊

I'd like to say Charles was compliant for his session with me, but I'd be lying 🤣 so it was a quick wriggle from Charles 🖤🤍 and a very quick claw clip 🐾 from me, to ensure that lovely Charles could get back to his birthday 🎂 celebrations 🍾 as soon as possible ❤️

I did take Charles a birthday 🎂 present 🎁 of a USA 🇺🇸 cat nip smiley ☺️ face soft toy, which it would seem was well recieved, as he had some birthday 🎊 playtime with it after I'd left and then took to bed 💤😴 🛌 later on after he tired himself out from partying 🪅🎉🍾 all day‼️❣️❗️😄

I visited lovely Kasper 💚 last week. He was a bit of a wriggly worm 🪱 but we got there in the end. He likes to have his lovely mummy 😍 on hand for reassurance ❤️

Kasper 🩵 is a very spoilt little boy who lives with his devoted mummy 🩷 and has access to a lovely garden 🌳🌹🐞🦋🐌 what a fairytale 🧚‍♂️ ending for a rescue boy ❤️

It's always lovely to visit 19 years young Hercule 💙 and his sister Lady P ❤️ Who I will be writing about in a separate post later this week.

Hercule is a very smart Tuxedo 🖤🤍 boy who I've known for around 5 years now. He loves to wander around his immediate home and garden 🏡 surroundings and watch the world 🌎 go by, taking in the wildlife 🐞🐝🐛🐌🦋 and I'm sure making friends with admirers along the way! ❤️

Hercule has a lovely 😍 coat for his age but just needs a little bit of help 😸 with his excessive undercoat to ensure that no pesky matted areas form ✅️ his murder mittens are also trimmed to a more acceptable length too! 🙈

Very vocal 🔈Hercule 🖤🤍 likes to complain during his groom, but on the whole, he's a very well-behaved gentleman ❤️ who was very happy to pose for a photograph 📸 after his groom ❤️🤍🖤

Doesn't he look dapper? 😍❤️

It was good to catch up with Bruce 💚 on my travels last week, he's such a character and is always ready for his groom ✅️ Bruce somehow manages to get his bib into a bit of a mess 🙈 his bib fur grows very quickly and he manages to get himself looking rather scruffy by the time I visit‼️

Usually a very chilled 😎 boy, sometimes grooming sessions spark a bit of a protest in Bruce 💚 but not for very long, he's usually won around after his grooming appointment by food‼️He's a very keen eater and loves to munch away and fill his belly‼️

Bruce 💚 suffers from runny eyes 👀 so I was very quick to take these pictures 📸 after we'd finished of the lovely boy relaxing on the sofa 🛋

He was in a right old mood on my visit to him on Friday 🙈 nothing suiting him at all, must have been a full moon 🌝 he really was a naughty boy!

You never know what mood you are going to find this devilishly handsome 😍 chap in, sometimes he's the life and soul of the party 🥳 and happy to entertain his house 🏠 guest and other times I'm convinced he's got a voodoo doll of me which he's sticking millions of pins 📌 in! 🤣🤣

On Friday he'd definitely been at the voodoo doll since learning I was due to visit for a claw clip 🤣

Hopefully next time Percy will be a saint 🙏🏻

Regular furry client Maine Coon Misty 💜 sitting pretty amongst the flowers 💐 in her 😍 garden 🌿🍃 which is a haven for so much wildlife 🦋🐌 particularly some very young and energetic squirrels 🐿 who chase each other around the lawn and up the many trees 🌳 😀 🍃🐿🐌🦋🐞

Misty 💜 has had some health issues 😢 recently and was a little bit upset by her vet visits, which is totally understandable but she was very trusting for her groom with me, despite us thinking she may be a bit grumpy 😠 Such a good girl ❤️💜❤️

Well done Misty, glad you are on the mend and thank you to Misty's 💜 lovely Mummy ❤️ for the photo of her special little lady 🐾🐈💜❤️💜❤️💜

Rufus 🧡 a very cuddly lovely Maine Coon Male ♂️ with a love for the great outdoors 🏞 🐦🐞🌳 had his regular maintenance groom yesterday ❤️

As Rufus is an outdoor cat 🐈 his trousers 👖 are often cotty as he likes to roam around the vast and secluded countryside 🐑🐄 that he lives in, hunting in the long grass in the fields surrounding his home 🏡 So we keep his belly short so he doesn't collect any "lodgers" while on his travels!

Rufus 🧡 was a very tired 😴💤 boy indeed for his groom and barely put up a fight, he must of had a very busy night 🌙 on the tiles!

21 years young ❤️ Lovely Fudge 🖤🤎🧡 had her regular manicure 💅 and pedicure today and took great delight in a little fuss and relaxation afterwards, very comfortable there on the sofa 🛋

Fudge will be turning 22 in August! 🎂🥳
