Mitsy 🧡🤍🤎 is a 12 year old Persian whose got a stinking attitude when it comes to being groomed, she tries to bite 🫦 kick 😳 and scratch 🙈 has the worst potty mouth in the world 🌎 and an absolute hatred of being told what to do!

Mitsy has lion 🦁 clips twice a year as her fur matts quickly and she will not tolerate being groomed by her owner. She's a house 🏡 cat so she doesn't get cold in her warm and cosy surroundings ❤️

Recently, Mitsy has been unwell 😥 so we postponed her grooms much to her delight 😊 until her vet gave her clearance for her grooming appointment along with a very light sedative so she didn't become stressed by her angry outbursts, she was actually a dream to deal with on this occasion 😁 I'm sure she'll be back to her old tricks by the time I see her again in spring! 🌵🐞

Such a handsome boy who is a Ragdoll x Norwegian Forest Cat 🐈 His Mummy keeps him in fabulous 👌 condition so we only ever remove the excessive undercoat that is produced between our 3 to 4 monthly appointments ✅️

It was such a pleasure to visit these lovely ladies today on their 6th birthday! 🎂 🥳🎈🎁 I would like to tell you the feeling was mutual but I suspect that's wishful thinking on my part! 🙈

These beautiful sisters are Maine C***s who live a lovely life with their Mummy and Daddy ❤️ and are spoilt rotten every day and not just on their birthday! Although I'm not entirely sure the birthday pamper was what they had in mind for their special day as Tiger 🐯 grumbled through her groom with a few hisses for good measure and Cassie ❤️ sulked like it was the worst birthday ever! 🤣

Happy Birthday girls ❤️ I hope your are relaxing and enjoying a nice cosy evening by the fire 🔥 🙌

Elvis ❤️ is a big cat 🐈 and he's got a big bad attitude when it comes to grooming, although on my visit to him this week, he was quite well mannered for a change, which was a nice suprise!

Naughty Nancy 💜

If looks could kill, I'd be a goner 🤣🤣

Nancy is 6.5 years of age and it's fair to say she's not my biggest fan, tries to escape through the (locked) cat flap on sight of me 🙄 and swears at me throughout her groom, she's even thrown in the odd dirty protest 💩 for good measure! 🤔

Originating from Bradford, Nancy hasn't forgotten her northern roots and in typical Yorkshire fashion she's quite happy to tell me she's not happy about my presence 🙈 it's a good job I don't take her attitude too seriously and instead chat to her throughout her groom trying to appeal to her better nature! After many years of trying, I'm not really making progress at being on good terms but Nancy needs grooming otherwise she develops matted areas, so sorry Nancy 💜 But you'll have to put up with me! 🤣 Your very pretty 😍 when you aren't scowling at me! 💜👌🐈🙌

It always seems this end of the year that there's a sudden loss of furry clients over Rainbow 🌈 Bridge and I'm really sad to say that beautiful Maine C**n 💛 Mojo, who would have been turning 13 years old in February, sadly crossed the bridge last week a few days after I'd visited her to say goodbye 😢 We had stopped Mojo's grooming appointments earlier in the summer after she was diagnosed with cancer 😢 She'd had an operation to remove what the vets could take but unfortunately the tumour started to grow again and Emma, Mojo's lovely Mummy ❤️ decided that it was time to free her girl of any suffering and let her go and play and be free with all our much missed and very loved cats 🐈 I know Mojo will be having fun up there now ❤️ such a lovely girl 🌈

I'd been grooming Mojo 💛 for several years, I always looked forward to seeing this gentle girl who was a birthday present 🎁 for her Mummy's 40th, the best gift ever! They adored each other❤️

Mojo was a good girl for her appointments with me, she would always be waiting for me to turn up and I'd feed her treats afterwards as a reward for being the perfect furry client ❤️ Last week I visited Mojo and her Mummy so I could spend a little time with this precious girl, she happily ate a few lick e lix that I gave her and purred whilst resting her head on my hand as I stroked her ❤️ although the cancer was definitely progressing, right upto the end Mojo remained a very happy girl, she didn't suffer and her Mummy had the vet call at her house 🏠 so she wouldn't have to be moved from the sofa where she was resting. Thank you Emma ❤️ for giving this lovely girl the life she deserved, one of so much love and care ❤️💛❤️💛

I'll miss you Mojo 💛 your sweet face was always so welcoming and you were such a gentle soul 💖

Thoughts are with Emma and her family at this sad time, I'm sending you so much love and hugs 🫂

Always an absolute pleasure to visit 22 years young lady "Fudge" 🖤🤎🤍 🧡 who has regular manicure 💅 and pedicures and is a delight! 😍

A little fidgety at first for her pampering 🤣 Fudge soon settled down ❤️ and let me clip her claws then jumped on the sofa 🛋 back to pose for me later retiring to Mummy's lap for cuddles! ❤️

Fudge recently had an altercation in the garden 🌳🌾🪱🦋 with we think a wild animal and sustained an injury to her tummy, but after a vet check and a bit of tlc she's back on form 👌 she had a full MOT while at the vets and they confirmed that this 22 year old lady has no health issues whatsoever! Perfectly functioning kidneys, heart ❤️ and no arthritis detected at all! Absolutely incredible 😲

Very sad news to give you today 😢

Gorgeous 19 years young Tilly 🧡🤍, who was a rescue girl I'd been grooming for over 5 years and was amongst the very first of my furry clients when I started my business, has sadly left us for Rainbow 🌈 Bridge after 6 years of love with her parents, Gemma and Clare ❤️ after they took her in.

Here's a little write up from her parents ❤️

"Tilly was rescued 6 years ago at age 13, our lives will never be the same for having had her as our 'nana'.

We were truly blessed to have been loved by such a beautiful soul. You were the embodiment of love and joy wrapped in ginger and white fur.

At the grand old age of 19, you played like a kitten till the end, your taught us the importance of appreciating the little things.

You were an amazing mummy to Tegan and Belle, you showed them how to play and showed them where all the good sun spots were in the house. Your sisters past and present love you very much.

We will still sing the songs we made up for you 'ol Tilly Banna' and will miss your joining in, even though your singing was limited to 'nilnil' and 'racow'.We will forever miss seeing your little waddle, your ginger spots and you loving using a human hand as a pillow as you purred for hours in contentment.

Thank you for all the love you gave, the moments and memories you beautiful old girl. It's time to rest now nana x"

I'd like to add as her groomer, Tilly was a delight to care for, she loved her grooming sessions and always felt better after a pamper, I'll miss her 💔

Thoughts are with Gemma and Clare at this sad time and I hope you find comfort knowing you gave Tilly a truly wonderful last 6 years on earth, she loved you both dearly, I could see that ❤️

Lady P 💗 I adore this little lady....

She's blind and will be 20 years old next birthday 🎂 she's a real special elderly furry client who absolutely adores her Mummy ❤️ and I absolutely adored my cuddles with her 💖

Lady P 💗 navigates her home 🏡 brilliantly as she's lived there all of her life so knew the set up before her sight diminished. She is particularly fond of the sheepskin rug near the radiator in the kitchen, where she can snooze 😴 and be close to her Mummy as she goes about her day 😊

I've been visiting Lady P for around 4 or 5 years now and it's always an absolute pleasure to meet with her, she's very well behaved ✔️ except for a little complaining around her trouser 👖 area which is arthritic and can be a little tender, so we have to be very slow and gentle ❤️

Fabulous to see you Lady P and your wonderful family, keep cosy in the cold weather and snuggle up to your Mummy who you love so much ❤️

At 13 years of age, this lovely lady is looking fabulous with her 3 monthly grooming appointments ✅️ keeping her neat and tidy 💕

Nigel 🧡 whose groomed every 3 months with nail trims only in between was rather pleased on my most recent visit that I was only visiting him and his brothers for manicures 💅 and pedicures! 🤣

Food focused Nigel 🧡 has been known to create quite a lot of drama during his grooms in the past, well worthy of an Oscar Award is our Ginger Ninja! 👏 🏆😂 But not this time, he was quite the gentleman ❤️ which was a welcome surprise! 😊

Well done Nigel 🧡 although next visit, it's the full works so get practising your kung fu panda 🐼 moves to keep me on my toes! 😂😂

It always makes my day when I visit kitties who've been given a forever home 🏡 and have been adopted from a rescue, particularly when that rescue was founded by my friend and fellow cat lady 🐾🐈‍⬛ Jane Lkr whose Loughborough Kitten Rescuers is a rescue close to my heart ❤️

Here's lovely Lucy 😍 and Noah who were both given a 2nd chance at life with their new family last year, now they have an amazing home with a very loving ❤️ and caring family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 who are dedicated to looking after these both 18 month old darlings

Lucy is a little nervous but is getting better each time I visit and learning to trust me 💕 and tabby boy 💙 Noah just wants to be in on the action so gets a manicure 💅 and pedicure so he doesn't feel left out! 🤣

Can you believe once upon a time, these beautiful babies were on the streets? 😢 Please consider adopting a cat or kitten if you can offer a suitable home, I know Jane has a constant flow through her doors and can only save more with our help 🙏🏻

I'm really sad 😔 to bring you the news that one of my long term elderly furry clients 🖤 Shanks recently passed away after losing weight and not being himself, his vet suspected a neurological disorder 😢 and it was decided that the kindest thing was to let lovely Shanks cross peacefully across The Rainbow 🌈 Bridge 💔

Shanks leaves his family devastated and also his brother, littermate Armitage or Armi for short ❤️

Shanks 🖤 was 18.5 years of age and born in an allotment with his brother to a feral cat Mummy.

His owners rescued them from a shed. They were so wild they kept them in the bathroom 🚻 for a couple of weeks, hence their names! "Armitage and Shanks" 🖤❤️🖤

Shanks is on the right in the photo, this was his last night 🌙 at home before he gained his angel wings, he had a long and happy life with his family in a very loving ❤️ and caring environment 🏡❤️

Also pictured is his clever Mummy's pottery figures of her lovely boys that she made herself while taking part in a pottery class ❤️ a lasting tribute to her beautiful Shanks 🖤
