Jay (tabby male) and his sister Swift (black female) are looking for a home together. They were born on 28 Dec 24, they are microchipped, flea and worm treated and had a 1st vaccination so far. They can return to our vets in Swadlincote or Tamworth for a free 2nd vaccination in a few weeks time and free neutering once they are big enough. They have a clean bill of health and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

These two gorgeous kittens were part of a newborn litter who were found in a garden along with their very poorly mum, Raven their lovely mum was too ill to look after them (she did make a full recovery) so these babies were taken into foster with one of our amazing experienced handrearers where they just did amazingly and have just been an absolute picture of health.

Being handreared means that these kittens are INCREDIBLY friendly, they just want to be with you, on your lap and in your face, handrears dont understand personal space at all. They will need a home with a family where someone is around a lot of the time and wants cats who will want lots of interaction. They are great fun and love playing chase, climbing their cat tree and getting into mischief before snuggling down for a snooze curled up together.

The kittens are eating really well and have been raised on Royal Canin kitten dry food and just moved to Whiskas wet kitten food from their kitten weaning food. They use the litter tray really well and are used to the wood pellet cat litter.

They can be rehomed with other neutered friendly cats, could live with a cat friendly dog and will be fine with sensible children aged 5yrs and over.

They will need a home with a nice safe garden that is WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS so that once old enough and neutered they can play outside safely.

Being fostered in Swadlincote, Derbys, home offers subject to homecheck and an adoption donation of £100 per kitten.

If you can offer this gorgeous pair their forever home please email us telling us all about your home offer in detail along with your full address and contact number to [email protected]

Super Sundays 🤩

Who is this gorgeous bunch you ask? These are the current Lodge & Cat Cottage residents, who are looking for their furever homes.

Molly & Tabby (bonded pair) - 16 years and 15 years old
Oscar & Wilde (bonded pair) - 9 years and 8 years old
Brendon - 2 years old
Fluffy - 3 years old
Gary - 9 years old
Delta - 5 years old

A few are on specialist diets and Molly has a few ailments to note but she is only on one medication currently (ear drops). And then there are a few who will require a little more time and patience to settle than the others. If you would like any information about any of these beauties or would like to book a visit, please email us on [email protected]

REHOMED - Beau is a 7yr old pure white male, he is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and has a clean bill of health. Beau is deaf from birth. He will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

Beau originally came to us several years ago with a feline pal and they were rehomed together but over the years unfortunately their relationship has broken down and Beau now desperately needs to be the only cat in the home so he has come back to us to find a new family where he can be the centre of attention.

Beau is a stunning looking boy who suits his handsome name, he is friendly and likes a fuss but is also quite independent and doesn't demand constant attention. He will make a great companion for someone looking for a pal to sit with in the evenings but maybe has a busier life in the daytime.

Beau is used to being able to go outside and he enjoys spending time in the garden so due to his deafness his new home will obviously need to be in a safe, ideally more rural location WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS so he can continue to enjoy his freedom. He will not suit an area that has a heavy population of other cats as he really doesnt tolerate other cats and we dont want him upsetting the neighbours. He has lived alongside a placid elderly dog in the past but not so for a few years, he could live with quieter older children aged 8yrs plus.

Beau is clean with the litter tray and enjoys his wet and dry food and of course a treat of Dreamies.

Being fostered in Swadlincote, Derby's but can be rehomed further afield to the right home subject to homecheck and adoption donation of £75

If you can offer this special gorgeous boy the rural retreat that he needs please email us telling us all about your home offer and contact details to [email protected]

🌟 Hello, world! My name is Hazel, and I’m a 1-year-old tri-coloured short-coated Collie. I’ve been told I’m quite the looker, but I’m also a little shy. I came into care from another rescue, so my past is a bit of a mystery—but I’m ready to focus on the future! 🌈

I get along well with other dogs and am very quiet and settled in my kennel. Because I’m a gentle soul, I’d feel more comfortable in a home with children over 8 years old who can understand my shy nature. 🐾

If you’re looking for a sweet, calm, and loyal friend to share your life with, I’d love to meet you! 💕 Could I be the one to complete your family? 🏡

PLEASE SHARE WITH ANYONE YOU THINK MAY BE SUITABLE FOR CINNAMON! 💗

Cinnamon is still waiting for a forever family. He's our longest resident and has had very little interest. We are confident that the right family for Cinnamon is out there somewhere, and we're not ready to give up on finding them yet ❤️

Cinnamon has had a difficult start in life, leading to some medical treatment. Please read in full before applying.

Cinnamon is about 4 years old and loves snuggles on the sofa and skipping around outside 🌳

Cinnamon came to us as he was not coping in his previous home. After numerous vet appointments and tests, we suspect that Cinnamon has suffered with a history of untreated urinary tract infections. This has led him to have pain and associated trauma when using the litter tray. We explored a variety of placement options for Cinnamon, and he is now doing well in a foster home where he has unrestricted outdoor access.

Cinnamon needs a home where he has safe outdoor space, with access on his terms (eg through a cat flap). He is on a urinary care diet which has helped to support his urination problems. He will need to go to a patient, kind and experienced family, who can accept Cinnamon and his previous trauma.

To discuss Cinnamon in further detail, please put in an application using the link on our website, and one of the admin team will be able to get in touch to discuss his needs in further detail, and answer any questions you may have. We would be happy to rehome him much further afield than Nottingham as we really want Cinnamon to find his forever home - thus far that doesn’t appear to be local!
