Christmas is fast approaching and we all love to spoil our fur babies? Let’s make sure we do it safely and ensure our best pals have a pawfect Christmas! 🎅🏼 🎄

Rawhide, we’ve all seen it in many supermarkets or shops, especially presented as gifts this time of year! It can often look really enticing and affordable, as seen in the image below. However, Rawhide is extremely dangerous for your furry friends for many reasons:

🦴 Rawhide can easily obstruct a dogs airways and become lodged in their oesophagus or lower digestive tract.

🦴 Rawhide can stay trapped in a dogs stomach which often requires surgery to remove, putting your furry friend through a stressful Christmas and costing you hundreds of pounds.

🦴As your dog can not digest Rawhide easily, they can also have a really tough time trying to pass the Rawhide causing discomfort and potentially another trip to the vets💩

‼️Cancellation and No Show policy‼️

Christmas is busiest time of year 🎄

I would like to remind all of my customers of my cancellation and no show policy. 🎄

🎄I have a waiting list for pre Christmas grooms 🎄

If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice or don’t show up to your appointment then I will have to charge you 50% of the price of your groom/bath.

I understand that plans can change, but missed appointments and last minute cancellations have a huge impact on my small business.

I go above and beyond to remind all clients of their appointments.

It is ultimately your responsibility to ensure you attend your scheduled appointments.

We all know December can be an absolute whirlwind in the grooming world.

The days get longer, the to-do list never seems to shrink, and you’re working hard to make sure every dog leaves your salon looking festive and fabulous. 🎄🐾

But let me remind you of something important: you can’t pour from an empty cup. ❤️

Here are a few ways to prioritise yourself during the Christmas rush:

🌟 Schedule breaks—even if it’s just 10 minutes to enjoy a hot drink.

🌟 Set boundaries with your schedule. It’s OK to say no when you’re at capacity.

🌟 Remember to fuel your body—stay hydrated and have a stash of snacks to keep your energy up.

🌟 Celebrate the wins, no matter how small—every happy client is a reminder of the amazing work you do!

And most importantly: be kind to yourself. You’re doing an incredible job balancing the chaos and creating magic for your clients. You’ve got this! 💪✨
