REQUEST FOR HELP*

We are just wondering if there is anybody that has any available land for the little moor horses that were rescued in the floods not long ago.

The land would be for around 10 horses, as soon as possible. The owner is trying to take precautions due to the events of the flooding last time.

Hey followers, we are still currently in need of items to enable our future flood rescues to be successful and efficient...

Hey followers, we are still currently in need of items to enable our future flood rescues to be successful and efficient✨

We would be very grateful, if you could share the Amazon wish list where you can purchase items or send gift cards to our email address which will enable us to put towards one of these items or if you are able to donate that would be amazing 🙌🏼

Thank you so much

Due to the recent incident with the horses in the floods on little moor lane, that were rescued as a community, we have decided to come together as volunteers to create this page in order to prevent or help these types of situations in the future.

In order to be able to help us provide the right support for these circumstances, there are a few things we need to be able to have the right resources for flood rescues.

Many people were requesting to donate to us but we turned the donations away however, we have now decided to create an ’Amazon Wish list’ with the items that will help us as a team to do rescues in the future when needed.

It would be much appreciated if anybody is able to purchase any of these items off the wish list or perhaps donate a gift card, this can be from £1 and upwards - the email address needed for the gift cards is [email protected] ❤️

Thank you for all of your support

2024 floods led to a Facebook call for horse owners with equipment and skills to come to the aid of a herd of horses and cattle in immenent danger of drowning.
We had never met and didn't know eachothers names, but came together and saved animal's lives.

We felt this was too valuable of a lesson to not use, so Equine Flood Response was born.

We are a passionate group of horse and livestock owners, who volunteer our time to these animals, who are at risk of death or serious harm as a result of flooding.

Your first port of call should always be the Fire Brigade, but in the event that they are unable to attend, EFR has a directory of experienced volunteers able to help. We mostly cover the Trent Valley and soar flood plains, but with members based further afield, we also cover woodborough and the areas within 30 miles.
