Well done Mill House - after a long wait full results are out for the 'Pony Club Centre Equitation Competion' and are on 'Pony Club Results'
Our team finished a fantastic 9th out of 33 teams in their section, with Erin placed 11th out of 33 in her section C 1 with a score of 152.1, Tiannah 6th with a score of 144.0 in C 3, Ava 18th in D 1 with a score of 136.6 and Surraya 7th in D 3 with a score of 147.5. With 33 or 34 in each section that was a great result! THANKYOU to Howden Insurance that has sponsored this fantastic competition!
All our members at camp back in August had the opportunity to take part in the Showjumping, which was videoed we then selected the best 6 rounds to go through to the dressage, the best 4 (2 at each level) were then selected as our Centre Equitation entry to put forward to the National competition.

Fantastic time at the South Trent Pony Club Horse and Pony Care Table Top competition. We took 8 teams (24 children) and finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th in the Centre section of the Mini's with highest overall score across all the mini sections, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the Centre section of the Juniors with highest overall score across all the Junior section - a brilliant result and fantastic achievement. However not all achievements are measured by results - for some children the win was the confidence to take part, for others it was the confidence to talk and put their knowledge across, and for others it was to train, encourage and inspire our younger members. They have all worked incredibly hard - our juniors had been organising their own zoom revision sessions and it showed! Team work makes the dream work. Well done all of you!

Please, please can everyone pay for their lessons on time!
All lessons should be paid in advance - lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice MUST still be paid in full. You don't want to pay for lessons you haven't had and I don't want to charge you for lessons you haven't had but I can't afford not too!! - costs are still the same and wages are still the same.
Today I have finally sat down and finished going through lesson payments for September and October I started last Thursday and ran out of time - 32 unpaid lessons, most totally genuine mistakes.
I love what I do (mostly) but we are fighting hard to keep going and its getting harder!!

Halloween Fun at Mill House!!
What a brilliant evening of Halloween themed mounted games, Fancy dress, Hot Dogs, Doughnuts, Apple bobbing, Sweets, Rosettes, screams, laughter and LOTS and LOTS of FUN!!

A great day at the South Trent Triathlon at Bingham. Lots of PB's - I think they all got PB's in the shoot, with Thomas scoring an amazing 960 shoot, and there were a few PB's in the run and swim too! Thomas won the Mini boys with best shoot, swim and run, Toby won the Tadpole boys with best shoot and Ted was 3rd in his first competition at this level. Alice and Ellie had very strong competition in a big mini girls class and finished just out side the prizes but great performances and Harriet did a really great job in an equally strong Tadpole girls class with a hugely improved shoot. Toby, Ted and Harriet finished 3rd as a team in the Tadpoles and Thomas, Ellie and Alice finished 4th in the Mini's.
Looking forward to the Rufford Triathlon on 19th November. Entries are open on Horse Events, they also have a Beanie Biathlon for our yongest members not confident swimming a length. It would be great to have an even bigger team at the Rufford!!

Lots of fun at todays rally! Too busy for photos... With members ranging from 5 to 14 a brilliant time was had doing flat work, jumping, mounted games, lots of grooming, horse and pony care and most importantly making and catching up with friends!!
