And thats a wrap!
Another Fantastic Great Big Christmas Pony Party with lots of rosettes, prizes, chocolate and fun!
The hats were once again amazing, ponies were looking very festive - and Erica proved once again when it comes to Christmas MORE is always MORE !!
The ride and run relay was very competetive with half the children jumping on ponies partnered with the other half jumping on their feet. Ted and Amelia were the eventual winners in a hotly fought comtest with some very tight turns followed by a super speedy run.
Next testing their suppleness and balance with a round the world and half scissors showdown - Erin proved once again she is still the champion!
And finally team mounted games - with a host of races from Christmas tree decorating, Presents in Chimneys, Lucky dip, to Santas sack. No idea of the final scores but it was all a lot of fun!!
Thankyou to all the helpers who came and helped us make it run smoothly.
We are now closed for lessons untill Tuesday 7th January. Pony Club will restart on Monday 13th January.

Our Great Big Pony Club Christmas Pony Party is nearlly here!!
Monday 23rd December. 9am - 12.30pm. Cost £40 Pony club members (£45 None Pony Club members) All ages and abilities including leadreins.
A morning full of decorating ponies, Christmassy mounted game, ride and run jumping relay, hot chocolate, prizes, rossettes, sweets and lots of Christmas fun!!
You must be booked in and paid for in advance.

A fun and educational afternoon at South Trent Pony Club Horse and Pony Care competition. We mixed our teams up and ran a number of our final year Mini's in the Junior's instead in preperation for next year, and with a few last minute changes due to illness all of our members did us proud; with a 3rd for Mill House Dartmoors and a 7th for the Exmoors in the Mini's, and a win for the Highlands and a 7th for the Fell's in the Juniors!! Well done everyone!

🎄Sunday 1st Dec. South Trent Horse and Pony Care Table Top competition @ Sutton Bonnington Village Hall. Teams of 3. Junior, Mini and Senior classes. A great opportunity for all members that have been training throughout the year to take part. £15 + booking fee.
🎁Friday 6th December - Jump Giants @ Wymeswold Industrial Park 5pm. 2 hrs Jumping followed by food. Cost: £24.

🎄Horse and Pony Care training - Monday 25th Nov - 16th Dec.(5 sessions) - cost £35.

🎁Great Big Christmas Pony Party - Monday 23rd December 9am - 12.30. (Best decorated hats, ride and run relay, Christmas mounted games, lots of rossettes and prizes and lots of Christmassy fun!!

A brilliant evening of Mounted Games fun for Halloween ! From trick or treat races, Witches cauldrons complete with eyeballs, snakes and bats, Witches and broomsticks, Pumpkin lucky dips - we even had a real live toad hop across the arena at one point to add to the excitement!
When we couldn't think of any more games to play we headed inside for hotdogs and donuts with sprinkles before heading back out to finish with a VERY NOISY game of witches!!
