Blue Green algae confirmed at Dishley Pond (Derby Rd Playing Fields Loughborough). Do not allow dogs to enter nor drink the water.

Signage has been erected stating the algae is suspected but the staff putting up the signs say it is now confirmed

People moan about dog poo on pavements, but more harm is done when poo is left all over crops destined for animal feed. It’s so important that you clean up as best you can when out in the open countryside 🐾

Please do not let your dog's poo on farmer's fields, especially when you see them like this! This is winter food for the cows!!!!
You may possibly cause Neosporosis / Abortion of calves which could even lead to a cull.
Farmers work hard all year round to look after the cows and for a 5 minute run for your dog you cost us money and stock! !
