Poor little Sammy has been super wheezy at the moment, struggling with hay fever and allergies. He’s been on ventipulmin and ventalin inhalers to help this, however we felt he’s only made a small improvement so decided to give South Somercotes Louth - Equine Salt Therapy System a go. Here’s him pictured today, he was such a good boy. Thankyou Kevin, hopefully this helps him! This pony is like a cat with 9 lives!! ❤️

Eamonn enjoying some sunshine today ☀️ feeling much happier after completing his ulcer treatment. We can’t wait to see him pack some weight on this summer 🤞🏼❤️

Extremely sad day for us all today. Our longest standing resident, Evita, has crossed the rainbow bridge 😭 Her body could not go on any longer, even though she was still her determined and spirited self in her head 💔 It was the most difficult decision for us all to make but we knew it was her time 😭 She has lived out her retirement with us for the last 10 years, after being rescued. She was once a successful polo pony, but after breaking her knee she was no longer a ‘use’ and ended up in a neglected state, skinny and riddled with lice 💔 She was scared and super head shy, but over time her sweet, quirky personality started to blossom ❤️ We have so many fond memories of Evita, her constant nickering at us and her demanding self! ❤️ She made us all laugh by kicking stable doors and telling the other horses off, or trying to run everywhere like a youngster! She really was like a mischievous and opinionated old woman! But most of all she was so loving and affectionate, and a favourite for all of us here at the Ark 💔 She will be missed but absolutely never forgotten 😭 Run free with your old friends beautiful girl ❤️😭💔

Run free Tango x Sad day today but after 3 years treating his liver issues it was time . Thank you to everyone today he went with dignity and was very peaceful
