ABOUT ME!

From a young age, I have been deeply passionate about horses and equine management. I attended Bishop Burton College as a residential student, where I achieved a Level 3 qualification with triple distinction* in Equine Management. Currently, I am furthering my education at Nottingham Trent University, pursuing a BSc in Equine Sports Science, with the goal of becoming a registered veterinary physiotherapist.

My ridden career started at the age of six, participating in Pony Club activities and assisting at local riding schools. During my teenage years, I was fortunate to gain diverse work experience, from show jumping dealerships and young horse production and working alongside a 5* eventer and an International British Dressage Rider.

In the spring of 2023, I embarked on a once in a life time adventure to Texas, USA, where I worked at Rancho Cortez as part of the Global Adventure Project. This incredible experience allowed me to learn Western riding, barrel racing, and develop lasso technique and natural horsemanship skills. More recently, I have supported a Carriage Driving Team preparing to compete for Team GB at upcoming international events.

I am also the proud mum to two wonderful horses: Jess, my heart horse, with whom I have competed in BSJA British Novice, and Cassie, my Belgian Warmblood, who I currently compete with in BSJA Newcomers. We are excited to participate in the Discovery second rounds this summer.

Me and my horse Cassie are having a fab time here at uni, we have got up to so much and even had a play in the snow ❄️

❗️important notice ❗️

As many of you might have heard I have moved away!
I’m heading on my new adventure to reach my goals of becoming a veterinary physio 🙈 🎉

although I am not based in Lincolnshire anymore I will be visiting and be back on holiday/ term dates so can still take limited bookings during these times so don’t hesitate to get in touch, I am also happy to give help over the phone or via messenger where I can 🦄

Thankyou for all your custom, it has been great meeting new people and regular clients who love their ponies just as much as I do 😍

💈 schooling 💈

Been working with Woody and his lovely owner for awhile now and wanted to show his new found talent as this boy has worked so hard and tries his heart out each session.

Woody is a young horse who had only done abit of hacking since being backed so very green and never cantered. I started schooling Woody to work on getting him forward, stronger, confident and balanced. Woody is learning to carry himself consistently and off the forehand and is making great progress.

I used a multitude of exercises. Transitions, Pole work,reinforced aids, lateral and longitudinal sessions.

Woodys owner has also been on board during our sessions to develop their partnership and confidence which is lovely to see 🥰

I have recently just had some availability come up for either yard work or schooling

• mucking out to a high standard •
• ensuring all horses needs a met •
• general yard work- tidying, cleaning •
• exercise of the horse - lunging, hacking, flat work, jumping •

If any specific needs I will try my best to accommodate these and can be flexible on time 🕰️

Last week saw one of my busiest weeks to date here at ER Equine.

Here is a snap shot of a current schooling/holiday customer. Her lovely owner asked me to support Keeping this girls fitness up while she is on holiday. She has worked really nicely and has been a sweetie, reminds me so much of my own horse Jess. 🤩

I have had a busy week here at ER equine services, lots of clients seen to and we popped out to willow banks affiliated showjumping at the weekend 🤩

Cassie my own horse jumped two fabulous clear rounds coming 3rd place in both of her classes 🎉

As a registered freelance groom I offer support for farrier, dentist and veterinary visits.

This week I was acting veterinary assistant for a client who has annual routine treatments for all the yard. Another amazing learning experience supporting the vet who was flown in from overseas to complete the required work. 🧑‍⚕️👩‍⚕️🏥

This talented young rider made me so proud at the weekend!

She went and achieved a 10th place in her first ever BSJA competition at the pony premiere arena Uk with a clear round and a brilliant one it was!

I was there to support both pony and rider, warming up and course walking 🤩
