9yr old, Chestnut gelding (2015) - Approx 17hh-
Has run under NH and P2P rules, 21 starts, and a winner of x1 PTP. Has never fallen, last ran on the 19/05/24 placing 3rd. A very kind, easy horse to do in all respects, hacks out alone or in company, first or last. Ridden daily and trained by a mature lady rider, Good to box, shoe and travel .. would make an excellent Team chaser, hunter or with some schooling a competitive eventer / all rounder ..

I was heart broken to hear the news this morning Nicola, condolences to Rafael and all connections .. Edobantos, Lulu’s sire - Such an exciting young stallion, lost in his prime - loved seeing the pics of him jumping his first 1m 40 Grand Prix’ last summer - We’ll do our best to continue to fly his flag and I hope represent him proudly .. 💕💕

💔 Heartbreaking Statement 💔

It is with TREMENDOUS sadness and heartbreak to announce the sad and sudden loss of my one and only EDOBANTOS Edobantos - KWPN Stallion - AES Graded and Licensed.

He sustained a catastrophic injury fallowing a fall on concrete and despite every effort being made, it was decided at hospital that surgery was simply not viable for a long term positive prognosis at his age.

We, as a family, are understandably broken in spirits and I as a horseman have lost my best friend and trusted work partner. I owe him everything, his influence on my life has been immeasurable.

EDOBANTOS took on everything with grit, determination and the best attitude. His legacy lives on in his progeny who are just at an age now to become visible to the world in both BYEH classes and BS age classes.

I wanted to thank each and every one of his past Mare owners and his bookings for this year please know I will do my best to get in touch and offer options on frozen or my other stallions.

I have had a hiccup with my life and have needed time to come to terms with this loss and time to grieve. I am unsure what my future looks like right now as I can't really imagine it without him there. 💔 10 years he was with me through thick and thin.

I recount the marvellous things he achieved and forever cherish the memories we shared.

Thank you to everyone who helped us in our journey. I am sorry to share such sadness with you all.
