We are closed today from 2:00pm until 5:30pm for a practice meeting and staff training.
Please note our Lowestoft practice will remain closed for the rest of the day and any calls will be diverted to our Gorleston practice.

We are hosting our first ever Christmas Fete! 🤩🥳

We are so excited to invite you all to our Christmas Fete at The Veterinary Surgery in Lowestoft. This is being held on Saturday 14th December 2024, at 10am - 1pm.

We have an array of small businesses and charities offering products and information, along with a visit from Santa himself 🎅

Dogs are of course welcome! But please can we ask that cats and small furry's stay relaxed at home 🐱🐹

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Patient Care Assistant at The Veterinary Hospital & Surgery.

‼️ This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in all aspects of veterinary care and really learn and develop your patient care assistant skills in general practice, supporting our specialist vets with advanced procedures as well as seeing our emergency and critical care clinicians at work, all whilst working as part of a warm and supportive nursing team. 🐾

This is a fixed term position (6 month contract), working 40 hours per week across Monday-Sunday. You will work as part of our team rota with shifts between the hours of 7am and 11pm and will also support our MNV Emergency service in Gorleston working twilight and weekend shifts. 🏩

Today we not only remember all the human heroes who fought for us, but also the animal heroes who battled alongside them.
Join us in remembering the people and animals who lost their lives on active service, from the beginning of the First World War to now. Wearing a poppy is a show of support for the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces, veterans and their families.

Today is National Stress Awareness Day.

Our wonderful pets bring such joy to our lives, and we often forget that they can feel stressed sometimes. We know that it can be a stressful experience at the vets, and because of this we take extra measures to make sure all our patients are comfortable and at ease 😊

Entire male white cat, no chip. Found near Wouster Way, Gorleston.

Ginger, entire male cat. Chipped but we have been unsuccessful getting in contact with the owner. Found Cambridge Way, NR31.

November is National Diabetes Month. 😸🐶

Diabetes Mellitus is an endocrine disease that creates insulin deficiency and effects on average 1 in 250 pets. Most cases of spontaneous diabetes occur in middle aged pets and overweight pets.

What signs should you look out for? ⁉️️
