We are so excited and can’t wait to see you all! If you’re coming along today the event opens 10.00am with the arena and dog show starting at 11.00am. There is a wonderful selection of food and drink inside East Point Pavilion which is of course dog friendly! 🐶 There are several car parks along the seafront, you can find other locations on Parkopedia postcode is NR33 0QL Most locations take cash payment or the RingGo App.

Only one more sleep to go! 🐾Don’t forget if you are coming along tomorrow we are collecting pet food donations for Waveney Food Bank which can be dropped off on site if you are in a position to do so. It’s been a beautiful day on Lowestoft seafront today. The Royal Green is freshly mown and ready to welcome everyone tomorrow! The day opens at 10.00am with the dog show and arena starting at 11.00. Food and drink available inside East Point Pavilion Remember it’s free entry this year for the Strutt Your Mutt coastal special edition! Event is planned and run entirely by a small team of unpaid volunteers and all proceeds go to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Suffolk Lowland Search & Rescue 🐾🐾🐾 hope to see you there!

HELPING TO SUPPORT OTHER PET OWNERS

Organisers of Strutt Your Mutt Charity Dog Day are working together with Waveney Food Bank to help to prevent people from having to give up their pets over concerns about how they will feed them.
No one should have to give up the companionship that their pet brings, or have to choose between feeding themselves or the family pet.

There will have a donation point at our Strutt Your Mutt event this weekend and we are asking for donations of cat and dog food. We will take any pet food – tins or dry food. If you have tins of a flavour or type hanging around that your pet doesn’t like, we will gladly take them. If it’s an open bag of dry food, tape it up and drop it off to us, somebody will be very glad of it.

Although Strutt Your Mutt Charity Dog Day is all about dogs we will except all types of small animal and bird foods as well as those for dogs. The event takes place on Sunday 30th April at the Royal Green, Lowestoft and volunteers from the Waveney Foodbank will be on hand to give advice for anyone who needs help.

Six days to go - the countdown is on to this years Strutt Your Mutt Charity Dog Day

This year the event has gone coastal and we are the Royal Green, Lowestoft. NR33 0QL
This fun day is all about celebrating our four legged friends and the amazing relationship that we share with them. Event entry is free but all funds raised on the day through donations, the sale of merchendise, the auction, raffle, dog show and have a go activities etc will be going to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and the Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue. Barking Mad Dog Training and Behaviour Company will be at Strutt Your Mutt Charity Dog Day on Sunday 30th April at the Royal Green, Lowestoft.
They will be inviting you to have a go at agility and Flyball plus Richard will be taking Behaviour and training questions in the main arena at 2.30pm (if you have any questions for him please pm us in advance)
You will be able to talk to some of the team at the event and find out more about this friendly and welcoming dog training school.

I can share the beautiful cat called Ralph now. Sadly he recently went over to rainbow bridge 💙 run free gorgeous boy. The owners wanted his little scarf painted too🥰
This was an A4 watercolour finished with a black mount. I’ve been a little busy with some surprises that I can’t share at the moment.. and getting ready for Strutt Your Mutt Charity Dog Day and Walks coming soon 😊

16 Days to go - the coundown is on
We are looking forward to welcoming dogs from all over the area to Strutt Your Mutt Charity Dog Day on Sunday 30th April at the Royal Green, Lowestoft. This fantastic dog day out has so many things to see and do. Entry to the event is FREE but donations welcome for our charities Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue.

Activities include a Fun Dog Show, Fastest Recall, Flyball, Dog Bingo, there is an Obedience Ring, Ask the Expert, Trade Stands, My Dogs Got Talent, A Breed Parade,Shopping with Trade, Charity and Local Craft stalls.

Music from the Lowestoft Longsore Men, and our Event Compere, Musician and Comedian, Ian Larkin. We are holding a charity Auction and there will be domos from East Suffolk Canicross and Dog Yoga with Amy Blythe. Find out more here https://struttyourmutt.co.uk/

Has Your Dog Got Talent? Templewicks “My Dogs Got Talent” We are proud to present the Templewicks “My Dogs Got Talent” competition to be held in the main arena at our event. So if you have you trained your dog to do a unique trick, this is the competition for you. You do not need an impressive repertoire of lots of tricks, we are simply looking for something special you have taught your dog to do, such as rollover on command, take a bow, peek-a-boo, balance something on their nose, jump through a hoop, dance or count. The list is endless and it is up to you as long as you and your dog enjoy yourselves. WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM LAST YEARS WINNER - please private message or email from the event website https://struttyourmutt.co.uk/ This is a fun competition and everyone who enters will receive a prize and a rosette for taking part. Free to enter this competition is open to all, individuals, dog training clubs and owners of all age.

Benacre Broad is a National Nature Reserve and is usually closed to the public, however thanks to the generosity of Lady Gooch and the hard work of the Natural England team, people taking part in our event on Sunday 11th June will be able to enjoy our truly beautiful walks from 9am onwards. We have two routes, one 2miles and another 5miles and there will be rosettes and goodies bags for those who take part to say thank you for supporting our charity.
