Rabbit Awareness Week 24 - 28 June

Rabbits are social creatures and should be kept in pairs or larger groups. Introducing adult rabbits can lead to potentially lethal fighting; don't be tempted to get one rabbit
and add a friend later. Once two or more rabbits are bonded, they should remain together, including for vet trips. It is no longer recommended to keep rabbits and guinea pigs together as it is very difficult to meet both animals’ needs.

🐾 Hamish's Visit to Ludlow 🐾
A few weeks ago, our beloved Hamish came in for a lumpectomy with Vet Emily and Nurse Lorna. He was the perfect patient, charming everyone at the practice with his sweet demeanour. As you can see the lump was the size of a tennis ball making this procedure rather difficult.
Hamish's aesthetic was very stable, and we used multi-parameter monitoring equipment to ensure his safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Hamish has recovered really well and is back to his happy, playful self. His mum and dad are overjoyed with his progress. He had two post-op checks with Lorna, and his recovery from such a big operation has been remarkable each time.
