A dog's name reveals a a lot about their little characters. 🐶 ✨

Madam Cookie has lived up to her name since day one! On the car journey to her knew home, safely tucked up in Sarah's arms, she leapt from her knee into the cardboard box filled with straw, did her little piddle then hopped back to Sarah. She had been raised outside in a straw barn and knew exactly where to do her business - She was one smart COOKIE!! 🍪

Ever since then Cookie has been keeping us on our toes, she gets smarter, cheekier and a little more bossy everyday! 👸 It's hard to believe she's been with us over 10 years - and you have Cookie to thank for the brainwave behind the Unleashed Dog Adventure Park. 😉 💕

📆 The competition will run from 09/02/25 until 11:59pm on the 16/02/25. That gives you a whole week to get booked in and get your snaps if you don't have any already.

We will announce 2 Winners on the 17/02/25, one for the Best Photo* and one for the Best Name Origin. Multi-Dog households can enter as long as there is a different photo to each dog name origin story.

Have you visited our brand new Den at Unleashed? 🕺 🔎

Take shelter from the cold this winter in our cosy den. ☃️ 🧣

Just imagine yourself sitting inside, sipping a cup of tea or coffee while your dog reveals in their new found freedom. ☕ 🐾

There is lots to keep you entertained from interesting dog related books, a few games/puzzles for the kids and of course a big toy box for the dogs! 📚 🎲 🎾

PLANNING UPDATE (kind of) 👷‍♂️

So this time last year we had the Planning Appeals Committee (PAC) site visit. 🌳 💼

We had hoped to be entering into 2025 with some news of the decision; however the PAC have a considerable amount of work so it could be at least another 6 months before we hear anything.

The good news is that any dog park in NI that has applied for planning permission has been passed - so hopefully that’ll be good news for us too! 🤞

Thank you sooo much to everyone who’s signed the petition this far! And to all of you for your continued support! It really keeps us motivated to fight for what we know is right. 💪 💖

Opening Unleashed has truly been one of the happiest and greatest achievements of our lives and we hope that we will still be able to provide a safe and secure place for the amazing dogs of NI to play and exercise in a care-free and happy environment.

This year we have decided our new years resolution is to ‘Be More Dog’!

And by this we mean:
🎉 Get excited about the small everyday things.
🏡 Be super happy to see friends and family.
🗺️ Follow the scent of adventure &explore new places.
🏃‍♀️Exercise daily by walking or playing or on a good day both!
💤 Get naps and full body stretches in.
🙏 Don't be afraid to ask for more.

We hope Santa Paws is good to everyone this year! 🎅 🐾

We are feeling particularly grateful this Christmas after reminiscing on how many wonderful dogs and people we have got to meet through Unleashed. 🐕 💕

We will be taking a little break from the socials over the next few days to celebrate with friends and family. The dog park is still open although spaces are limited. You can still contact us if you have any issues on 074 6039 0719.
