The first pure breed bantams hens of the season have arrived. We’ve got Pekins, Polands and Silkies in lots of colours. These friendly girls will be available from Wednesday 5th February and they are £32.50 each.

Due to the rising number of Avian Influenza cases over the past few weeks, DEFRA have issued an update on measure that all bird keepers must follow. It doesn’t matter if you have 1, 10 or 100 birds, the rules are the same for everyone. If you are unsure of what you need to do, please go to the DEFRA website for more information.

Our latest delivery of POL hybrid hens has just arrived. We have some Columbian Blacktails,, Sussex Rangers, Beechwood Blues, White Leghorns and Speckledy’s. The hens are all £25 each and ready to go from Friday 13th.

Good morning everyone, here is some news that we have suspected would come in to force for a little while.
Please take time to read it, as it will affect all poultry keepers.
In short, all poultry keepers, regardless of size of flock, must register their flock with DEFRA before 1st October 2024 (1st September 2024 in Scotland).
