🚨Dog Friendly Friday 🚨

Every Friday we aim to post a dog friendly place we visited and want to recommend to dog owners.

This week's post will highlight three places we have recently visited

1) Three Black Birds pub in Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead who are very dog friendly and currently offering a afternoon tea for dogs with a percentage going to Macmillan.

2) West Mercia Beach, dog friendly beach!

3) The Grove Lock pub in Leighton Buzzard they are dog friendly outside, they have a open area and a sheltered area. They have treats and toys to be purchased for pooches.

Enrichment activities are activities that allow dogs to use their natural behaviours, such as: sniffing, foraging, playing, licking, chewing, and shredding.

Common misconceptions with shredding and destuffing enrichment activities is that they will encourage destruction around the house. Studies have shown that by providing positive outlets, you take away the need for your dog to seek out their own shredding enrichment by providing them with something safe and fun.

Lettuce and cabbage are fine for dogs to eat in moderation. But this is to encourage play, chewing and shredding NOT to be fed as a treat or meal.
