We know this can put some people off, but it really shouldn't!
We provide lots of support when it comes to completing your theory, as we understand it can act as a barrier sometimes 😊

Unlike many other training academies, we offer a flexible approach to our teaching 😎
As long as we have space, we can start you on the date of your choice. You can then train with us from 1 to 5 days a week as suits you. This means you can train whilst you work 😊. You can even miss a week for a holiday if you needed too!

Did you know that brushing your dog between grooms is really beneficial to all involved in the grooming process?
- The dogs are happier when their aren't any knots which makes grooming them easier.
- Brushing is a great way to bond with your dog. If your dog does not like being brushed choose a time when they are most relaxed and gently start then and build it up. They are less likely to react this way.
- Brushing a dog (especially our thick coated breeds) will prevent moulting in the home.
If you would ever like any brushing advice, please let us know. We are happy to help.

Ticks thrive in the Summer months and dogs can easily pick them up when out on walks - especially in fields with longer grass.
Remember to carefully check your dogs when you get home from the walks. Ticks vary in size. They can be tiny to begin with but increase in size as they feed.
**Ticks must be removed using a tick remover**

Now is the time of year where fleas can become a big problem. They love the heat!
Please remember to treat your fleas with their spot ons/tablets as required and check them over before coming to visit us.
It may be worth noting that some fleas are becoming immune to certain treatments so please check your local area 🙂

👀👀 This is the time of year where we start to see grass seeds in dogs coats 👀👀
Please remember to check your dogs after walks to make sure they do not have any. They can be deadly! Checking paws, eyes, ears and their coat is a great way to prevent them burrowing in.
