Pet Health Check – only £24.99!* 🩺

The festivities may be over, but your furry friends might still feel the effects! From gobbling goodies, to the excitement of visitors, the holiday season can take its toll.

💡Your pet can’t tell you what’s wrong, but we can:
☑️ Weight and body: That extra snacking, chilly weather and salty pavements can all add up!
☑️ Behaviour changes: The stress of changes in routine and noisy celebrations can affect your pet’s well-being.
☑️ Joints and mobility: Cold weather can affect mobility by making your pet’s joints stiff and painful.

Our expert veterinary nurses can spot and address any potential concerns early to ensure your pet starts the New Year healthy and happy! 🥳

⭐️REMEMBER REMEMBER THE 5TH OF NOVEMBER⭐️

Expect firework displays this weekend.
Here's a reminder of our previously published top tips.

Top tips:
⭐️ Avoid walking your dog during fireworks
⭐️ Do not let your pets outside during fireworks
⭐️ Ensure their Microchip details are up to date should the worst happen
⭐️ Ask your smart speaker to play firework sounds in the weeks running up to firework season to try to get them used to it - particularly if this is your pets first ever firework season
⭐️ Ask our vets for help IN ADVANCE if you already know your pet does not cope well with the fireworks. Please don't leave it until Nov 5th to seek help.
⭐️Create a safe place in your home that is covered and enables your pet to hide. Set this up in advance of Nov 5th so that they are used to it
⭐️ Keep a radio or TV on during firework displays outside. Keep the lights on to hide flashes as best as possible and close all the curtains/blinds
⭐️Try to remain calm yourself. Pets pick up on us being nervous around them

The start of this week has been a busy one 🐱🐶🐹🐰

Meet Elmo, he visited us yesterday after ingesting a chicken bone 🍗

The most significant risk for cats, from eating a chicken bone is they can cause blockages or a tear in the gastrointestinal tract.

Lucky for Elmo we managed to remove the stuck piece of chicken bone and he was feeling much more happier and comfortable afterwards 🐈 💕
