Over the summer holidays we also had Bert come to stay again. It was such fun. Olive and Barnaby absolutely love him and he loves them them. They ran together, chased the ball, played in the stream, said "Hello" to the Woollies and ran a bit more, until they were exhausted. Then they all curled up and slept. The best bit was Bedtime.....I managed to contort my body into an 'S' shape so we could all fit in, and so we slept!! 🤣😍 What a great holiday.

As the children return to school in Leicestershire, I am reminiscing about the eventful summer at Ewe're Gorgeous. It began in July with the arrival of two rabbits called Rocky and Toffee. It was a sudden decision for their mum to bring them here so tricky decisions had to be made as to where they would be happiest! (As you can see in the first two photos).They were an hilarious pair who were determined to snuggle down behind the Fridge Freezer. Obstacle courses were created to stop them but it was only on the last day (Day 10) that I finally managed to block their way!! Such gorgeous rascals.🤣🤣

As I mentioned in my last post, I thought Julia may be pregnant. However, if she was, she would be due on March 26th. This video shows me in complete shock last Tuesday 13th February!! Julia, who normally has one lamb, had twins- 6weeks early. They are gorgeous as all Ewe're Gorgeous sheep are. 😃 More pics to follow.

This is a picture of Julia. She is a Cheviot ewe and her fleece is gorgeous as you can see. She came to me in November with Lester-Ludo, a beautiful Leicester Longwool. Julia however, has some special news………she may be expecting!🥳I haven’t been able to get her scanned so it is not definite but what is definite is that before she arrived here, the ram managed to make his acquaintance with her! So……… watch this space. If we are positive, the lamb will be due around the 26th March. 🎉😀

Last summer, I had the immense pleasure of looking after Jemima the rabbit and her siblings, Sky and Sunny, the budgerigars. I'm looking forward to seeing them again for Summer '24.
If anyone else is beginning to plan their Summer holiday and needs someone to look after their furries, feathers and scalies then I can provide a loving holiday for them here or I can visit within their own home.
Please be aware that Cats and Dogs cannot be catered for in my home. Visits for Cats however are available.

Last summer, I had the immense pleasure of looking after Jemima the rabbit and her siblings, Sky and Sunny, the budgerigars, who can be heard in the background! I'm looking forward to seeing them again for Summer '24.
If anyone else is beginning to plan their Summer holiday and needs someone to look after their furries, feathers and scalies then I can provide a loving holiday for them here or I can visit within their own home.
Please be aware that Cats and Dogs cannot be catered for in my home. Visits for Cats however are available.

Merry Xmas from the Ewe're Gorgeous Flock! Graham is the star of the Show this year...he loved wearing the hat but he scared the others so much, that they ran away from him! At this point they are just staring at this tiny Ram lamb wandering around with an oversized red hat covering nearly his whole head! 🐑🐑

Whilst Barnaby and Olive still continue to chase the ball, Bert has discovered something much more interesting!

I love the way they left Olive to find the missing ball. I couldn't figure out why Bert just sat down and didn't move. The next video shows why!

Picking up Cody for his walk is always wonderful! I love the way he talks to me.

Out for a walk with my Olive and Barnaby. Barnaby has come to live with us and I'm trying to get him to respond to his name when calling him. He's responding to "Look" now and is noticing me but in terms of getting him to come.......well we're getting there! Love him!
