Llama trekking
Want to do something a little unique? Why not come along to Severnwye Equestrian Centre and try your hand at Llama trekking through the beautiful countryside of the Forest of Dean. Our llamas are specially trained to be comfortable around people and to handle different types of terrain. They are very friendly and easy to handle, making them perfect companions for a relaxing hike in the forest.

Have you ever wanted a relaxing trek through the Forest of Dean? Our treks are tailored to suit your requirements, from one to four hours. The four hour treks are divided into two sessions. So bring a picnic and enjoy lunch in our large garden or pop into the local pub for a bite.
Our team of experienced staff and friendly ponies will give you a memorable trek. Our treks are ideal for individuals, or a party of friends and family who want to try something a little different on their weekend off. At Severnwye Equestrian Centre, we provide riding lessons for beginners to intermediate riders. We offer one to one lessons, which are thirty minutes, or one hour long. We are also the only local centre offering Llama trekking alongside pony trekking. We tailor everything to suit your requirements. Our team of experienced staff and friendly horses and ponies will always work hard to give you the perfect time at Severnwye Equestrian Centre
So why not try your hand at Llama trekking, or a relaxing pony trek through the Forest of Dean country side. We offer one hour to four hour horse and pony treks, so bring a picnic, or have lunch at the local pub and see the country side from the back of a horse or pony.
