Sorry guys for the silence the past few days !

We had a bit of a emergency ourselves, with Fred our dog. He is currently recovering from a operation to drain a rather large and quite scary abcess (was a huge cancer scare as even the vet felt it had a high chance) he's now home and lapping up all the cuddles and treats... he looks a bit worse for ware at the moment as the abcess is still draining 🤮🙈 and he is now sporting pink fur! 😅

We are so glad it's not cancer as first thought and had been suggested to prepare for.

Groomers next once fully recovered I think !

Hey Everyone!

I want to make you all aware of some exciting news coming soon to all you lovely pet owners!

I am now using Pet Sitter Plus, professional pet sitting and dog walking software to run our business systems. https://www.petsitterplus.com/dog-walking-software

I have joined a company called Pet Sitter Plus, who will be supporting my business with their amazing software. This will allow me to keep all my admin work in one place, but most importantly, it has an amazing benefit for you, the client, The Client Portal.

As you can see in the screenshots in the comments (my own example of a portal page if i had one) It will be your own area that you can keep up to date with your animals and personal information. Other benefits include ;

🐾Constant log with photos about your Pet updated from myself and you.
🐾View your invoices and payments, make payments, and keep track of what is owed and paid.
🐾Update information as and when it changes Ie health, contacts, new pets, etc
🐾Request or Cancel Services, Quicker to request services from me or cancel any bookings you may have.
🐾Get reminders of services booked, vaccinations due, flea & wormer due ( optional)

All clients that are already on board with me will automatically receive an email to set up your portal and add the details. Any new clients will be able to add themselves and information before requesting a service.

Due to the weather being so warm , Kia's walk turned to a pet sit and garden toilet break today, my son came along as I'm getting the dreaded "I'm Bored mum" so you may see my little apprentice with me through the holidays !
But Kia loved having George over. He made a good cushion to sit on and she gave lots of kisses and cuddles 😘💙

Hobbes has been with me for just over a week, doing hour long evening walks. He is normally a puller as eager to get to the many smells in the woods, but he is smashing the heal work ❤️ super proud !

(If he could just tell our Spaniel how to do it, that would be fab ! )

Will certainly miss our evening walkies when his owner comes back home 🏡

Just a few small slots for home pop ins for feeds left.
🐾September is looking fully booked for overnight pet sits, but still some availability for day home visits and short walks (30mins)
🐾October, November, December all still have availability in all services for quite a few dates !

🐍🐕🐾 Adder Bites 🐾🐕 🐍

With this glorious weather and also a touch of rain, it has made perfect conditions for snakes to bask in the humid conditions to enable their food digestion.
Recently, there have been quite a few adder sightings. Adders will scarper the majority of the time, but they do have a venom, and sometimes dogs can disturb them without realising. The natural defence is to strike and bite.

If your dog gets bitten by an adder, follow the steps below in the picture. (Save the pic to your phone so you have it to hand in case of an adder bite)

Good morning everyone ! Another really sunny day and it's getting a tad warm for our furry friends ! 🧡 remember to keep your furry family members nice and cool in this lovely weather.

🐕 CLIENTS WITH DOG WALKS - if the temperature raises above 20'c at the time of your dogs walk time. I will be in contact to arrange other arrangements. Please be prepared for last min change.

This could be just a pop in and check or rearrange to a morning or evening walk when the tempreatures aren't so high.

Your dogs welfare and comfort is the top of my priority and no one wants to get burnt paws, heat stroke or feeling uncomfortable.

REMEMBER NO DOG HAS DIED FROM MISSING A WALK, BUT TOO MANY DIE FROM HEAT STROKE.
