When your own dog wants to be pampered for 5 mins. She actually likes having her nails done.
We are so proud of this little boy Barney. Just a little update of his progress. Please excuse the clipper noise its not as loud as it sounds on video. Please look back on the video of him posted a while back. Thank you for taking time out to watch this update.
This is a beautiful update of the very scared and timid Yorkshire terrier we had in a year ago. If you would like to check the video from back in May when she first came in. Here is how she was this time. Not very good at filming but it shows the progress she has made. I start a part of the body then move to somewhere else before she starts to react so there are alot of unfinished areas while filming but I continue the same way until the final cut has been achieved. SO PROUD OF HER.
Love working on Bichon Fris. This girl doesn't really like being groomed but the hard work is paying off. She will now allow us to do most of the groom without reacting. It's still a long road but she's going in the right direction.
New appointments for deshedding has booked up quickly so only a couple of spaces left.
This girl is deaf and blind only sees shadows. So when she comes in always make plenty of time so we reassure her and keeping her calm throughout the groom. Where she shakes her back legs need to be patient to get her done. She goes out happy and relaxed. Always keep a hand on to make her feel safe. Love her ❤
We cater for large breeds. The bath as you can see takes large dogs with room to move. The shower head can be adjusted to slow gentle flow for small dogs and adjusted for the larger dog. When having a large breed in there is always 2 groomers to help minimise the length of time on the table as the larger breeds find it hard to stand for any period of time. So making sure they are comfortable throughout the groom is very important. This applies to all the dogs that come to us. In the video you can see he is very happy and enjoying the time in there.
Thought I'd share a little clip of scissor work that was done on a rough collie. Beautiful girl. Love working with her.
I have a done a little video to show that with hard work, patience and understanding of each individual dog the grooming sessions are doable especially for dogs that really don't like it. I have worked hard with Barneys owner over some time and have got him to be excepting the sessions. Thank you for taking the time to watch it.
I hope you enjoyed my first video of the little Yorkshire terrier. Here is the second part. And a finished picture ready to go home in the comments. Looking much less worried.
Hi I've attempted a few clips of videoing a Yorkshire terrier who came to me for the first time. The owner has been doing her at home as she is genuinely scared of the grooming side. Ive done a bit if work of desensitising her before filming.
