I am very sad to announce that Edwina passed away a couple of weeks ago, our wonderful cat who had welcomed guests here to Cottage Garden Cats for over 12 years. She and her brother Dylan (who passed a few years ago now) had been rather unexpected additions to my life, having popped out of a little semi-feral black and white boarding cat one Monday morning in 2012 along with their sister Pollyanna who returned home with their mum.
She will be sorely missed, as is her brother. Such characters the pair of them.
I am a firm believer that animals find us rather than the other way around and sure enough shortly after this sad loss, a beautiful cat meandered into my life and I was asked if I could find her a home, I tried (not very hard) and failed (such a shame)... so the next time you visit you will be welcomed by the adorable Uma, who has already worked out that every one who visits here is rather fond of cats and that life as a cattery cat, although very different from the wonderful home she came from, is going to be full of cuddles, attention and love. We both look forward to seeing you soon.
