Whilst over Crockford Clump earlier, I met Naomi, a Forestry Ranger.
She gave me free poo bags & then told me about the concerns the Forestry have regarding uncollected poo. She then went onto to say about how the Bugs/Insects that live in & around rivers, ponds & streams are dying. The cause is down to the Flea/Tick collars & Treaments that are administered directly onto the Dogs skin. The chemicals are constantly being released into the water where the Dogs are having their Splish Splashes.
It's something I'd never of thought of but can see how it makes sense. The Government are apparently trying to reinforce Oral treatments for Fleas & Ticks instead.
Everyday a school day.
Naomi then asked if i was a member of the New Forest Professional Dog Walkers Charter.....I am & I showed her the stickers. She then took a photo. .
