I see Doctors are demonstrating/protesting again ...asking for more money.
Well, what about the Nurses?
After my recent stay in Hospital , I can, first hand, just how amazing the Nurses are.
I was the Coronary Care Unit at Southampton & the Nurses were kind, compassionate, professional & simply incredible. Nothing was too much. Not only dealt with the medical side but sat & held my hand when I had my weepy moments. They offered reassurance & support throughout.
Now, they are worth their weight in gold.
Shockingly, I found out that during their shift, which were 12 hr shifts, they only get 2 30min breaks. They don't even have 1hr to sit & eat lunch. Now that's disgusting.
These Nurses are on their feet most of the shift, helping everyone. I think it's about time the Powers That Be start looking after our amazing, dedicated, incredible Nurses

I apparently had a small heart attack.
Currently B & B..ING courtesy of Southampton General.
I'm feel absolutely fine & in no pain.
Waiting to have an Angiogram (if that's how you spell it) & a Stent fitted.
Temporarily out of action😪
