Some nice pics of the end of the last polework session today. The horses know they always get a treat from me afterwards 🥰
We had a lot of fun with all sorts of exercises using today's layout.

I'm enjoying the chance to ride Elton a bit now the Eventing season is over. Peggy is kindly letting me school him a bit. He's not the easiest to get the hang of but after a session with Ellie Windell this week I feel I'm starting to get the feel of him.

All set for polework tomorrow. Exercises with walk trot and canter poles, serpentines, 10m circles etc etc, depending on level of horse and rider, can include lateral work and more tricky transitions 😁

I've got a set of these Equisk resistance bands to improve rider core strength ,stability and balance. I had a play with them on Prince this afternoon and could feel a difference. Happy to do sessions with any riders wanting to improve position and effectiveness.

I am available for clipping, fully insured, cordless Liveryman Black Beauty clippers, experienced.

Full clip £45
Blanket clip £35
Trace clip £25

Horses must be good to clip or sedated, and MUST BE CLEAN before clipping. An extra charge for blade sharpening will be made if multiple blades are required due to deep seated dirt and grease

I'm getting modern 😜 and will be using My Riding Life for bookings for some clinics I am going to run. First off a pole work on Tuesday April 9th - suitable for all levels, there will be pole work exercises to help improve flatwork. The sun is out 🌞 the sky is blue. And Blue's song came on the radio as I was turning out this morning, so we listened to it together ❤️

Well I'm not a fan of rain and mud, but it's great for getting cheeky Mr Blue Sky going through water 🌊

Water training going well (at least stepping into a puddle). This evening we just put the rope round Blue's neck and gave him a real choice of where to be ❤️ I hope it can transfer to building confidence with bigger areas of water

A quiet few weeks for Connor after Champs, so Mr Blue Sky will be getting a few challenges coming his way 🌊🌊🌊 but for today we just boxed out for a shady ride before it got too hot 🌞🌞

A little bit of gridwork for Blue this evening when it finally cooled down. We hacked early with Connor and Zed but it was too hot to do anything with Blue until gone 8pm.
