Today I spent the day at easton college working on behaviour assessments for the animals.

🐾 Week 1 & 2 Recap of the Dereham Vet Class! 🐾
We've had an amazing start to our training journey with so much progress already!
We kicked things off in week 1 with some great basics – learning the Settle cue to promote calm behaviour. We introduced mental stimulation through fun puzzle games and cognitive challenges to keep our pups’ brains sharp. Plus, we focused on socialisation, helping our dogs build confidence and comfort around new faces and situations. 🧠🐶
In week 2, we worked on boosting confidence by encouraging our dogs to walk over novel surfaces, helping them build trust in their surroundings. We practiced Settle again, the cone game for muzzle training, and worked on buster collar desensitisation to help ease any anxiety around medical equipment. We even introduced loose-lead walking all the way to the weighing scales—a crucial skill for those vet visits! 🐕✨
