I wonder what’s it’s like to have normal dogs?…. 🤦🏻♀️🙈
This is Hank, Hank clings to his mum and refuses to come in every single time he’s here, this is also Hank the minute his mum walks away 🫠🤣
💜 Just a reminder guys….
I don’t shave your dogs down for the fun of it, it is my only option if your dog is matted.
A lot of people will ask me to not go short when I explain their dog is matted and it has to be shaved but I don’t have the choice I’m afraid. How short your dogs coat ends up depends how close to the skin the matts are as clippers will only cut underneath matts and not through them.
The video shows a longer blade not cutting through the matts so I then have to drop down to a shorter blade that is short enough to cut under them.
I really just want the best for your dog and trying to brush matting out is impossible, extremely painful and cruel, I simply won’t do it to your dog.
Thanks for reading 🫶🏻
I know alot of you love my dogs and always say how entertaining they are, well this is Gus’s latest trick…
We kept wondering how he was getting out and thought maybe we hadn’t closed the gate when we thought we had but no…. he’s learnt to open it if the handle isn’t pushed all the way down 🫠🫠🫠
Nothing goes to waste here…. Your dogs hair gets taken for bird nests 🤣❤️
They best bring me some presents..
💜 Charlie got that Friday feelin’

💜 Just putting my Winston out there as he often gets overlooked because he is not naughty like Gus is… but he really is the best boy 🫶🏻
😣😣 Does your dog shake when going to the groomers? Please read below….
A dog shaking is a very common occurrence in vet clinics and grooming salons around the world.
I have heard some owners suspect foul play at a previous groomers because after a visit they were shaking in fear. It's sad to say that this story is a common one.
Reasons for this can be a number of different things and doesn’t necessarily mean your dog is terrified of your groomer.
More often than not I find a lot of dogs don’t particularly like the high velocity dryer. It’s loud, it’s powerful and can make them fearful.
The second reason I find most common is separation anxiety and projection of fear.
This happens when an owner is nervous about leaving their dog. The fear is sensed by the dog, it shivers which then makes the owner shiver in voice saying "oh no he's shaking" then pulling them back into their arms with more quivering on both parties. As their leaders, they look to us for guidance and structure. If the leader is scared/weary/worried then what message does that send to your dog? Like with humans, nervous parents are more prone to having nervous children. I see the similarities with dogs and owners just as often.
The best thing you can do is to be positive and leave with confidence yet promptly to avoid moments of fear.
I cannot tell you how many times I have to wait until the owner walks out of the door for the dog to stop quivering. Its almost like a game of bluff, as if the dog is saying "oh well… they didn't fall for it..ok lets go to the bath and get started".
I treat the dogs like my own in this salon and the dogs are very well loved and looked after 🫶🏻
If your dog was not ok I absolutely would let you know.
Go with your gut, if you suspect something odd try another groomer until you are fully comfortable.
Below is Hank…. Now Hank shakes like a leaf when he arrives, right up until his mum goes. His mum dropped him off, we had a little chat and
💜 Peaches- she smiles 🤣🤣🤣 so funny
