We're looking for a new member to join our team at our boarding kennels and cattery!

If you're someone who genuinely loves animals, takes pride in your work, and isn't afraid to roll your sleeves up, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a rewarding but physically demanding role where no two days are the same. You'll help care for our wonderful canine and feline guests, making sure they receive the highest standard of care while they're away from home.

🐾 What we're looking for:
• A caring and compassionate nature
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Confidence handling dogs and cats
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays
• A team player with a positive attitude

Experience is a bonus, but we're more interested in finding the right person with the right attitude.

As we're getting busier, we'd really appreciate your help in keeping our diary up to date.

✅ If you have any existing bookings with us, please get in touch so we can make sure they're on our new booking system and that all of your details are correct.

📅 Please also take a moment to check your booking dates. If your plans have changed and you no longer need your booking, we'd be grateful if you could let us know as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, no-shows or unwanted bookings mean those spaces can't be offered to other customers, and we're already booking up quickly.

Keeping everything up to date helps us run as smoothly as possible and means we can accommodate as many of your wonderful pets as we can.

☀️ Keeping Your Pets Safe & Comfortable During This Week's Heatwave ☀️

The welfare of every dog and cat in our care is always our number one priority.

With the hot weather this week, we've put extra measures in place to ensure all of our guests stay cool, happy and comfortable, including:

💦 Paddling pools for the dogs to enjoy
💧 Constant access to fresh, cool drinking water
🐾 Early morning walks to avoid the hottest part of the day and hot pavements
❄️ Air-conditioned cattery to keep our feline guests nice and cool
🌳 Plenty of shade, rest breaks and extra monitoring throughout the day

Please rest assured that we'll be doing everything possible to keep your furry family members safe during the heatwave.

We're making booking your pet's stay with us easier than ever!

We've introduced a new online booking system where you'll create a profile for your dog or cat. Once your pet's profile is set up, you'll be able to:

✅ Make new bookings online
✅ Amend existing bookings
✅ Cancel bookings if your plans change
✅ Keep your pet's information up to date

Creating a profile only takes a few minutes and gives you complete control over your bookings whenever it suits you.

If you're an existing or new customer, simply create your pet's profile using the link provided and you'll be ready to book future stays with ease.

We’re currently in the early planning stages of a brand new play area here at Charnwood Kennels & Cattery – and before anything begins, we want to make sure it’s just right for you and your dogs 💛

One idea we’re exploring is optional supervised group play sessions, alongside individual playtime for every dog.
