We have completed all of the maintenance and are open as usual.
We have however, updated our paperwork again I’m afraid.
This will cause a delay on processing arrivals and departures.
However, the new registration form is available to download and print out from our website boardingkennelsblackpool.com
If you bring it ready completed it will help us speed things up.
We apologise for this but it is to improve record keeping and smooth running of things.

Please find our 2025 price list.
We are aware it is more than it is usually but we have entered VAT.
As we sell “empty space”, there is very little we can claim VAT on, along with increase in wages and energy costs we have decided that we would split the 20% VAT costs with our clients. Therefore we have done a 10% boarding increase and we will take the other 10% loss. This seemed the fairest way to do it and this decision hasn’t been taken lightly.
Any bookings made before January’s increase will be honoured at the current price.

In Addition to all of our staff qualifications Matthew is level 3 in animal management qualified and has passed with distinction.
I am so proud of our team here at Charnwood.
Not only have they all worked hard to get the qualifications but the level of commitment; dedication and care they provide is outstanding.

Jade is now advancing on to do dog training qualifications.

It’s that time of year again I’m afraid.
With the forever increase in gas and electric and now the minimum wage high increase as a small family run business we have no choice but to increase our prices again.
I have kept them as low as we possibly can but without this increase we would be unable to stay open to care for your pets.
In a more upbeat note.
Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and New Year and we look forward to seeing you next year.
Any booking made before the increase in 2nd January 2024 will be honoured at last years prices.

If you're on your own on Christmas Day, or just need time with some kind, welcoming people, then the amazing Mirrie Dancer Bakery & Cafe on Wood Street is going to be open for a couple of hours. The lovely team there have made this such a fun, friendly space in St Annes on Sea!

Can anyone help?
Charnwood kennels in Blackpool have dog coats, blankets and bags of dog food which we want to donate to homeless people with dogs but we can’t find any.
Does anyone know where they are likely to be during both the day and night time?
Also any donation at Charnwood, division lane are greatly appreciated and any volunteers to help us distribute the donations are greatly appreciated.

I’m trying to get feedback from our boarders.
We have recently done level 3 courses in daycare as well as boarding and are thinking about opening daycare to our boarders.
This would mean that whilst your dog is boarding with us for an additional fee they could go into daycare for half or full days and play with other dogs, extra toys etc.
They would still have their usual walks and kennel but would spend the majority of their days in daycare rather than kennels?
Would this be of any interest to anyone.
It would be space depending and wouldn’t have to be everyday.
