Wanting to find a šš” for my lovely Lily
14hh 7 year old registered Connemara mare N/N for hoofwall.
I originally bought Lilly as a project last year but sadly I just donāt think she is going to make it as a ridden pony, sheās not got a bad bone in her body but just isnāt happy under saddle, never bucked, reared or bolted just genuinely doesnāt ever feel relaxed.
She is up to date with everything and has lots of regular physio/ chiropractor checks. She is completely sound and never had any lameness.
She originally came over from Ireland as a 3 year old. Was broken by a lovely young girl who brought her on slowly & correctly with guidance from myself & other professionals.
But sadly the more I have done with her over the past year of owning her she just seems more and more unhappy.
Lils would definitely make a lovely broodmare, she is very deep and more than capable of carrying a bigger foal. Sheās so easy to do in every way on the ground and such a pleasure to have on the yard thatās why I have persevered with her for longer than most people would because I just love her so much !
If it was possible I would keep her and have a foal from her myself but sadly my lack of time & funds means that canāt be possible.
Iām open to sensible offers, but I will not be ripped off. She is not being sold as a ridden pony but will definitely be an asset to any stud with her great breeding.
