The beautiful new boy Bruno (9 months old) had a little adventure over at Brereton today with my kids and I. What a fantastic boy he is, happy to meet other dogs, enjoyed having some fuss from passers by and just an all round sweetheart 😍
Dotty had a big run in the paddocks when we got back - isn't she absolutely glorious? Such a gorgeous girl ❤️
We bumped into Dave at Brereton who was running with Francesca - he also took Pepper out for a run afterwards. Apparently the kennels were very quiet when he took her back - 4 tired and happy pups! 😊

Send help! I've made friends with the new boy at Dobermann Rescue UK & Europe reg charity no 1169697 - he's sat on me and is refusing to let me leave!
Honestly, the reputation of these dogs doesn't match the lap dogs that they really are 😍😍😍

This absolute stunner is Francesca ❤️
She came into Dobermann Rescue UK & Europe reg charity no 1169697 having been abandoned in kennels and she is now looking for her forever home. I'm hoping that this won't take too long because she is pretty much perfect 🥰 She has been super friendly towards everyone she has met, she is good with other dogs and is just an all round sweetheart. I've been bringing her to my house for the last couple of days to give her a bit of a break from kennel life and she's been a brilliant house guest. If I had another arm so I could hold 3 dogs then she'd be mine!! 😊

A great walk this morning in the Peaks - we found it really moving seeing the 1948 crash site, it's a very special place.
The highlight for Daisy and Seamus was finding a pair of abandoned walking boots to play tug of war with; begs the question how that person made it back down the hills?! 🤔
Having tired my two out I headed over to Dobermann Rescue UK & Europe reg charity no 1169697 this afternoon with my hubby in tow. I refuse to take him anymore, he had to be wrestled out of the kennels and we very nearly ended up with more dogs 🤣😍

It's about this point in the Christmas holidays that I don't have a clue what day it is, I'm starting to physically resemble all the cheese/mince pies/wine/gin that I've consumed and could really do with a week in the Caribbean. Unfortunately I don't have the available funds for that so instead we've 'enjoyed' a walk around sunny Bosley Reservoir. I've never known mud like it 😬 About to wash two very reluctant dogs now....

A really nice quiet walk in the sunshine, got to Redesmere carpark at 9:30 and we were the only people there, it was much busier when we returned ☀️😊

What a bloody day!!!! 😬😬😬
As all of my wonderful clients know, today is my last ever day of dog walking ☹️ After 3 amazing years I've decided to spend more time with my family and my own dogs. It's safe to say that I will miss all of the pups, whether they've been with me from the start, or some of the gorgeous newbies that I've had the pleasure of walking more recently.
I took massive pride in the fact that there haven't been any huge dramas over the years. That was until today when Daisy managed to get a ball stuck in her throat. I honestly believed that she was going to die and she had to be raced to the vet by my husband who came to the rescue as I had other dogs out with me. I cannot thank Broken Cross Vets enough for their help, they were amazing and managed to remove the ball. Daisy is now at home, a bit groggy from being sedated but still here with us and I'm just so grateful. We'll only be playing with much bigger balls from now on!
Thank you to all of my clients, many of whom I now consider friends, and to the brilliant dog walkers who have made space for my dogs - they really will be in excellent hands.
I'll probably still keep this page going so I can continue to bore everyone with photos of Daisy and Seamus, and I'll still be going to the rescue so expect lots of Dobie spam!
Lots of love to you all, and thank you so much for your support over the last 3 years, it's been a blast 🐾

A Wonderful Wednesday! 😍
Finn and Griz braved the drizzle this morning and then Arthur, Ivy, Milo, Peggy and Willow had loads of fun in the agility field at Country Hounds for a bit of a change.
This afternoon I took Hugo from Dobermann Rescue UK & Europe reg charity no 1169697 over to see Jo at K9 Raw. He's only 7 months old so it's good to keep his socialisation going and get him out and about. He loved his visit there, he was so well behaved and loved all of the treats 😊 Obviously we took lots back to the kennels for his buddies too 😋😋😋

A bit of a soggy start to the week but nobody has minded (apart from Daisy who refuses to leave the house when it's raining and barks at me to tell me to switch the sun back on 🙄)
Beautiful pups all round, and a lovely catch up with Cat's K9s this afternoon ❤️❤️❤️
Special mention to Zac this week who has loved running around with my two, he's been absolutely brilliant - it's been so lovely to see the three of them running around together 🐾

We've had a lovely Sunday so far - a new walk this morning for Daisy and Seamus with funny signs to read and some lovely horse poo to nibble on 💩 We then headed over to Dobermann Rescue UK & Europe reg charity no 1169697 to take the puppies (7 months old) Sadie and Sasha out for a little adventure. Those girls are full of beans and really enjoyed meeting my hubby and kids. We're all a bit gutted that we don't have room for two more! 😍😍😍

Daisy and Seamus got to hang out with their friend Hollie this morning, then Amber, Minnie and Peggy found the remains of the Macclesfield snow ❄️
I had a lovely time with the 7 pups in the kennels this afternoon, lots of zoomies in the field and snuggles 😊

Fecking Freezing Friday!! 🥶🥶🥶
Two very chilly walks this morning and then over to see the girls at Dobermann Rescue UK & Europe reg charity no 1169697 this afternoon for some playtime and cuddles. The new girl (who is yet to be named as she was found as a stray 😥) is a stunner! They were all modelling their snoods this afternoon as it was so chilly. Daisy also has one now as the kennel manager's very clever mum makes them 😊

This is Dotty. This is a video of her getting into my van. Not a huge deal at all for most dogs but it's absolutely massive for her. Dotty is at Dobermann Rescue UK & Europe reg charity no 1169697 and she is the longest resident there. She has a history of redirecting her fear and so it's been difficult finding the right home for her. However, she has come on soooooo much in the last couple of months. There is no way she would have gotten into my van previously but I've built up a great bond with her and she now trusts me to look after her. This has been done by going at her pace, showing her love and affection and that she's able to trust me. There has been no "show her who's the boss" or forcing her to do anything. She does things now because she trusts me, the kennel manager and the other volunteers (including going out on canicross trips). It means so much more when a dog does something through trust and love rather than because they're scared of you or the methods you use. I would love nothing more than to see her build a bond with a new owner. She has so much love to give and we all adore her.
