This dog has been brought to us following a suspected RTA close to the Kings School site in Macclesfield.

He is chipped but has no details registered against him.
He is an entire male, estimated at about a year old.
He is receiving treatment, but we would like to find the owner urgently.

We hope everyone had a lovely Easter weekend, and got lots of chocolate eggs!

Please remember that chocolate is highly toxic to dogs, it can affect the dog's nervous system, heart muscle and digestive system.

The first signs of a dog eating chocolate will be an upset stomach - such as diarrhoea, vomiting and an extreme thirst. A dog could then start to develop fits, similar to epileptic fits. If your dog eats chocolate over the weekend, give us a call straight away so we can advise you on 01625 501500.

The Easter bunny is getting ready to visit 🍫 remember to keep chocolate away from pets.

Chocolate is toxic to dogs and cats. The higher the cocoa content, the more toxic the chocolate. Therefore darker chocolate and better quality chocolate are most toxic.

Did you know that some good quality milk chocolate can be up to 65% cocoa? That’s higher than some dark chocolate!
