Sometimes there can be overlaps between appointments. As much as I do try to avoid this, sometimes it’s just unavoidable as there are many reasons myself or my customers may be running behind. Thankfully I have this lovely spacious waiting area for your doggies, it means they have somewhere safe and comfortable to relax, eat treats and drink water until pick up time and it also prevents any unwanted interactions with other furry friends. No complaints of the comfy corner so far from your woofers! 🐾😀💤

Happy Henry won ‘waggiest tail’ at the Fifield Fun Day in both 2022 & 2023. Thank you to every single customer I have in my books. Thanks to all of you my business has continued to thrive, so much that my books are always full 2 months in advance. Because of this I have decided to close my books most likely for the rest of the year and during this time cannot take on any new customers.

As most of you are 4-8 weekly regulars, I recommend block booking your appointments in, at least two appointments, so that you always stay on the appropriate schedule for your dog’s coat type and desired hairstyle and so you can always have your appointments booked in on the days and times that suit you most. I have already started sending out block bookings to some of you. Block booking appointments help me to see where I will have space in my diary to welcome new customers.

All of my appointments are purely prioritised to my regular customers. I really would love to be able to groom every dog and hate having to turn people away, both new customers and the less frequent visitors but unfortunately there just isn’t enough time in the day to take everyone on. But whenever there is space of course I will happily help when I can.

In order to achieve the best haircut possible, all customers need to be attending on the schedule I recommend, following my advice on keeping the coat maintained at home in between grooms for the desired length. I do not put any animal through the pain and torture of having a severely knotty/matted coat brushed out. Matting when formed and attached to the skin will be clipped off as short as need be, safely and humanely. Following the laws of the Animal Welfare Act, my furry customer’s welfare is my top priority and the hair does grow back! If you are unable to maintain the length, there are only two options going forward: a shorter haircut or a shorter interval between grooms. Thankfully most of my customers are on excellent schedules, I can’t even remember the last time I had to deal with severe matting! 😀

I’ve already started taking my Christmas bookings, as absurd as this may seem, some of you only have 1 groom before your Christmas groom! 😦🎄 If you haven’t booked in your Christmas groom yet I recommend doing this as soon as possible. I already have very limited availability for the rest of the year.

Thank you all for keeping me so busy, and for trusting me to look after your furry friends. I appreciate every review and recommendation and am still grateful for these although my books are currently full, they still help to grow my business and are just really nice to see and hear. 🩵
