Sorry I’ve been so quiet on here the last couple of weeks, it’s really not like me! I have just been super busy, and feeling a little more stressed and tired than normal. All of us go through these periods, it’s human.

As a Groomer, the shears we use every day to create the beautiful haircuts that we do are so important. Like all of us, I can not tell you how much money I’ve spent, and wasted, on shears over the years that just didn’t quite make the cut. Pun intended lol. One of the reasons I’ve been super stressed is because of how my scissors just weren’t helping me with that fabulous result I’m so used to, a lot of them are just really worn down, sticking, and just not cutting as they once were. However I have to remember that I am using them all day every day, and some are years old now. They can only be sharpened and repaired so many times before you do need to part ways with them. 😢

I’m so happy to have found ‘The Coat’ range, founded by an amazing Master Groomer Verity Hardcastle. I have been slowly stocking up on this brand for a little while now, adding new pieces to my collection and am thrilled with the results they produce. Each shear has a different purpose, really helping me to create that perfect result I feel I’ve been missing recently. They are so worth the investment and I’m already feeling much more positive; feeling like my usual self again. At the end of the day, the quality of my work is so important to me. Out with the old and in with the new! 🥳

Clean teeth for Annie who did very well for her first session! Annie has been a regular of mine for over 5 years now and was one of my first customers when going out on my own as a Dog Groomer. She comes 6 weekly for her pampers and 3 weekly between for my bath and tidy service as her Mum loves to keep her looking and feeling her best and now with regular teeth cleaning too! 🤩🩷

Happy Friday all! What a lovely warm week it’s been, clean dry floors for a change!! I think I just about have all regulars block booked throughout the summer months now, which is just around the corner!! ☀️ I’m booking from later May time now for those who haven’t booked yet. A couple of my older regulars after their first teeth cleaning session this week. A couple more deep cleaning treatments needed before going onto the maintenance cleans. It really is something you need to keep up with regularly to achieve great results especially if your pet has a severe case of plaque build up. The treatment works to loosen the plaque for an easy removal with each session, however you can only spend so much time on the teeth as the gums do get sore and the dogs get fed up. 😊
