***All XL Bully breeds must have a certificate of exemption by 31st January 2024***

One of the criteria for this certificate is that all XL Bully breeds need to be neutered.

To help with the financial burden this may cause, we are offering 20% off all dog neutering within January 2024. This offer does extend to all breeds.

Please call us on 01628 773445 to book an appointment.

Your kind and generous donations of £1900 will offset the £3,000 invoice and Scooby’s X-rays of £443 . If I can ask you to do one more thing and that is to share the fundraiser to your dog loving friends and perhaps your work places . To see if we can have one more push to fundraise. Thank you from Scooby and I .

It’s again and we’re back with Trailblazer of the month louise_sprackling . Last week Louise talked about the mental health challenges perimenopause/menopause can bring. This week, Louise wants to show how running with you dog can be simple and fun but you may not have given it a second thought !

I started running with my dogs by chance. I hadn’t thought of running on the trails with my dogs .we started out on simple recovery runs and progressed to different terrain and distance . It has led to a wonderful partnership of fun and adventure . I don’t think I would have completed all those solo ultra race training miles for my first ultra , without my dogs by my side ! Dogs can also make you feel safer when running alone off road . You can also enter trail races with your dog . I have run a 10k race with Scooby. He prefers off lead but still fun . If you want to progress further you can join a Canicross club and receive expert advice on technique and kit. I’d recommend being dog first aid trained to keep your dog safe . Why not check out great starter tips in the Tailwind blog on ‘How to Run with your dog’https://www.tailwindnutrition.co.uk/blogs/tailwind-in-practice/running-with-your-dog

Running is a great way to get some exercise for both you and your furry friend. Not only does it help you stay fit, but it can also help your dog burn off some extra energy and improve their overall health. However, it’s important to take some precautions and make sure that you and your dog are bo...

Good advice

🌸Pet spring flower dangers🌸
With spring on the horizon, lots of beautiful, bright flowers will be popping up
everywhere! Some of these flowers are poisonous to pets like daffodils, lilies and
bluebells. Why not head out on a walk with your little ones as a family and point out
the spring flowers, whilst also explaining that they are poisonous if eaten by pets.

When buying flowers for your partner this Valentine's, it's important to remember which ones to avoid buying if there is a pet in the household.
