Antibiotic Amnesty
Our practice is taking part in the 2023 Antibiotic Amnesty throughout November! 💊
But what is antibiotic resistance?
Antibiotic resistance occurs when bacteria develop defences that protect them from antibiotic medications, making treatment less effective.
Clients can return any unused or out of date antibiotics to us for safe disposal. #AntibioticAmnesty #onehealth

Did you know that the act of sniffing lowers a dog’s pulse rate? Studies have shown that sniffing reduces stress and anxiety in dogs. Sniffing can be encouraged by allowing your dog to stop to sniff on walks, or at home through enrichment such as scatter feeding or snuffle mats 🐶 if your dog is recovering from an operation, encourage on lead sniffing as an alternative to walking🐶
Fun fact: 5 minutes of sniffing tires your dog out as much as an hour’s physical exercise 💤
