Dear, Paws ‘N’ Claws Family 🐾

I am so sad to announce that Paws ‘N’ Claws Pet Care will be shutting down on the 24th of December. I am so thankful for all of my loyal clients and amazing dogs, cats and other fur babies I have looked after a long the way and all the memories we have made. I am so grateful for all of the wonderful people I have met over the past 3 years and I really never wanted this journey to end!

I want to ensure you that even though I will be stopping dog walking full time, I will still be offering Pet Sitting and other odd jobs on weekends to help where I can for you all. I have been in touch with some other Pet Care providers I know personally in regards to my business closing and what the next steps for my clients would be. I am more than happy to help any of you who need a new walker for after Christmas to put you in contact with some who I know provide the same level of care and compassion that I do. I am more than happy to help set up Meet & Greets too!

Again another huge thank you to you all for trusting and choosing me to be your regular Dog Walker and I have had the best time caring for your pets. They all have a very special place in my heart and as do you all too!

Please feel free to ask any questions or let me know if you need help with anything. I will always be an open ear for any support so please always feel free to stay in touch with me for the future.

(I will be working up until the 23rd of December for all regular walks. Please let me know any cancellations or extra walks needed for next month and I will fit you in where I can) ❤️

❗️Derek - Adoption ❗️

If you have been considering adopting Derek, now is the time to put yourselves forward.

Our circumstances have changed, which means Derek needs to find his furever home as soon as possible. (He can no longer go to work with Tracey and it would be cruel to leave him at home for 10 hours a day)

Derek has come along way in the 2 months that he has been with us, but his journey is not yet over. Derek will need an op to have his 🍒 off, to remove his hernia and his cherry eyes. He is currently recovering from pneumonia and once he has the all clear (tonight hopefully) then he will be ready for his op.

His new pawrents will need to continue with his training and setting boundaries for him, as its possible he's never had any before. However, he is a quick learner and will do pretty much anything for pate!

Derek is a sociable dog, and wouldn't do well being stuck in all the time. He loves people, kids and dogs and he isn't reactive to cats or small furries.

His toilet training still needs some work, but that will improve (hopefully) when he's had his surgery. He does go outside for toilet as soon as he has eaten, so he does get what needs to happen, he just forgets himself sometimes.

He does enjoy a car ride and could go to work with someone who spends time on the road.

At night time he sleeps downstairs on the sofa, and seems happy with that. He will sleep in a crate overnight, but other than that he isn't a fan of being in there. (most likely due to his previous life).

His new home will need to understand that he is going to need time and patience to build the trust. Once you do, his character will come out, and boy is it big lol he's cheeky, funny, vocal and playful. He is also very loving in his own way, and likes a cuddle and a kiss, but it's on his terms.
