The sweetest border terrier pup came to visit. Her coat wasn’t quite ready for a full hand strip today, so we decided to just Handstrip her head & neck and just some other areas to tidy it up and help it lay a bit nicer untill the last of her coat is ready to be stripped. She will be back in a couple of months, hopefully by then it will be ready for the full transformation! 😍

So happy that these three cuties found there way back to me recently! Treacle the terrier was one of my very first private clients many years ago, Boris I had groomed from a puppy when he joined Treacle’s family and Bonnie the pug was rehomed by them later down the line and joined the grooms too. Missed seeing them all, so glad to have them back ❤️

Bella the Cavipoo & Alfie the Yorkie. Two regular cuties, bella had her full groom and Alfie just had a bath and tidy today. These two come every 4 weeks, one for a bath and tidy and then the full groom the following 4 weeks. This keeps there coats knot free between the 8 week groom and also keeps on top of nail trims and other coat maintenance. A lot of my regulars opt for this 4 week freshen up between grooms, and I love getting in some extra snuggles with them 🥰❤️

❗️Hand stripping ❗️ Did you know I offer Hand stripping? In fact when I was training to complete my level 3 qualification I worked at a salon that was run by a lady who owned and showed Dandie Dinmont Terriers and Italian Spinone, these are two breeds thats are hand stripped so we were heavily focused on learning the craft of hand stripping. Hand stripping is the process of removing the dead topcoat, without clipping, leaving room for the new coat to grow and giving a more natural look. It keeps the dog's coat tidy and healthy, leaving it strong and shiny. It is done by teasing the hairs out in the direction of growth, as it is all loose dead coat being pulled it is pain fre

Chilli, Nel & Dotty. These girls do not have a breed standard cut, the owners like them to be short and manageable as they are working dogs. They are a feisty little breed with tons of character and a pleasure to groom!

Puppy Introductions - grooming can be an overwhelming experiance for a puppy, so many new sounds, smells, textures and person! A puppy introduction is such a great way to slowly get your pup used to the grooming experience to help them be confident and happy at the groomers when they are older.
