Welcome to Furry Footsteps 🐾

My name is Lauren. I am 31 years old. My passion is dogs! All ages, sizes, breeds, I love them all 😀 I am based in Herne Bay/Whitstable area and I have a full, clean UK license so am able to travel to meet new furbabies. I currently have a full time job but have been trying to decide what to do with my life. I have two dogs of my own who are my absolute pride and joy, they are spoilt rotten. Whilst strolling around the woods for a few hours with my super energetic dachshunds, I thought "Why not start up dog walking?! I can do something I absolutely love while earning a living for the kids at the same time!" So here we are 😀

As mentioned above, I have two dogs of my own who I will introduce now:

Louie;
Louie is my 18 month old miniature dachshund and ask anyone, he is a princess 🤭🤣 He is such a lovable, cuddly boy who will spend his days walking along the beach, around the woods or country parks and his evenings cuddled up on the sofa with his blanket 🥰 I've owned Louie since he was 8 weeks old and he's my ultimate best friend 🤎

Tallulah;
Tallulah is my 10 month old tri merle dachshund who was bred by a very good friend of mine. Tallulah is very independent and likes her own space but will happily socialise with other dogs out and about on walks, her favourite thing to do is roll in fox 💩 🤭

So that's a bit about me and my dogs! I've started up Furry Footsteps in the hope that I can help out owners who work full time, can't manage long walks anymore or just simply don't have time or someone who would like their dog to socialise with other dogs 🙂

I spent a few months working in a boarding kennels/doggy daycare so I am experienced with dogs of all sizes and ages 😀

I am fully insured and will be sitting a dog first aid course soon 😀

I am based in Herne Bay/Whitstable, Kent but I drive so happy to cover surrounding areas 😀

Welcome to Furry Footsteps 🐾

My name is Lauren. I am 29 years old (30 soon, but shh!). My passion is dogs! All ages, sizes, breeds, I love them all 😀 I am based in Maidstone and I have a full, clean UK license so am able to travel to meet new furbabies. I left my full time job in October 2023 and have been trying to decide what to do with my life since. I have four dogs of my own who are my absolute pride and joy, they are spoilt rotten. Whilst strolling around the woods for a few hours with my super energetic Jack Russell, I thought "Why not start up dog walking?! I can do something I absolutely love while earning a living for the kids at the same time!" So here we are 😀

As mentioned above, I have four dogs of my own who I will introduce now:

Lexi and Diesel;
Lexi and Diesel are my 12 year old Shorkies (Shih-Tzu x Yorkshire Terrier). They are brother and sister, but they could not be more different! Diesel is a real couch potato! If it's raining outside, he won't leave his bed. He will do anything for food but loves the quiet life now that he's getting on a bit. Lexi is the complete opposite, she will chase a ball for hours, runs through the woods like she's a puppy and as soon as she hears her lead, she does spins at the front door. I have owned them since they were 8 weeks old so they are definitely a firm part of the family ❤️

Milo:
Milo is my 1 year old Jack Russell who I got at 8 weeks old in January 2023 and wow, he is bonkers! No amount of walking, running or chasing balls will tire him out! He runs around the woods for hours. He is extremely friendly and loves to socialise with other dogs 🐕

Louie:
Louie is the newest addition to the family, he arrived in December 2023 at 8 weeks old. He is a Miniature Dachshund. I have waited 10 long years to own a Dachshund! There's just something about a sausage dog 🫣 as he is so small and stumpy, he can't manage long walks yet (even though he tries hard!) So we do small 30 minute walks at the moment 😀 Louie is now 14 weeks old but very friendly and playful 🌭
